NE sucks in beta.
All ranged attacks(from tier 1) does 50 damage a hit to Hunts due to new armor type. Anyone who can micro and therefore ignore mountain giants will own. Archers do way less damage and they make up for it buy giving them a couple more hit points. Dryads do not auto abolish anything..not even sleep. Dragons are worthless. DOTT and chims are late game and by then its gg anyways to a rush.
Human's foots/rifles and arcane towr rush.
Orc grunts/HH tower rush.
Undead Ghouls/Fiends/Rod of Necromancy Sacrifical Skull tower rush.
You are basically forced to get the KOTG for his engangle/treants abilities to win as u have no meatsheilds(bears late game as well.) anymore and the Kotg sucks as an end game hero.

Ne's only time to shine? In the mid game there is that 24.8 second window to pounce...miss it and gg if fighting a person of fellow skill.

I always thought that the NE rush was a little imbalanced at Tier 1 - something I'd hoped they would compensate for in the Expansion, but I had no idea.......
