Nice to see an SS report, even though I forsake it. For a BR I thought it was very good, mostly because it was of a different game. However, having played SS a great deal of times, unfortunately with Mr, I know that he almost always uses that strat to start a game, therefor, i didn't really like this one until Locs came into it. I don't think it was the best SS game to chose for replay, one with more caster tech or a ritual might have been cool. Also, I didn't seem to get the idea that losing the towers were a big deal, however in the actual game losing towers is kind of important, it didn't seem like you emphasized this enough.
I know nothing about BR's and, due to long absences and my original affinity for sucking, could play little SS so don't take any of what I say here seriously unless I am backed up by someone else.
P.S. No kill ratio? That's oneofthe coolest things about SS. |

I played just enough of the beta to understand what was going on... either the report was very brief, or the game wasn't very long and I can't figure out which is true. Or both.

I was a Strife Shadow beta tester. Then I bought the game and played it about 10 times total. Maybe it just didn't run right on my computer, but I could never get into it like I could SC/BW.
Being twice as old as many of the posters (38 now) I still revel and share in their juvenille antics of oogling the pretty half naked chick at the end. Some things never change. Definetely a bonus rating point for that little show. |
