| Well I don't own War3, but this report was a great read. It accurately described all of the important action seeming without missing a single detail, The writing seemed to flow off the pen, so to speak, and it was a very professional looking report. Also he didnt overuse the word seems or seeming. Easy 9. |

I really liked the part where the hunts shadowmelded anddid an ambush. Probly my favorite part.
At first I thought the battle at the end with the Book of the Dead and Drake Egg was just poorly detailed but I guess there wasn't much of a battle to speak of. =/ |

Re: Sceptre of Mastery, that is correct, it's no longer present since 1.03.
Orc is one of the easier races for getting away with Priestess first hero, although random hero would help.
Report was a good read. The map description was a nifty feature.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I guess I will continue this series. Because they are more hor d'ouerves than main courses, I can do one in a weekend without getting sick of war3. I hope to do one every two weeks or so, but that will depend on my schedule.
#5: It's just me.
#14: It's been my experience that if you uproot your trees late game, you've already lost. I'd rather keep production constant than get two trees into the battle who can't normally get close enough to enemies to swat them. About the only time I uproot is in an early game rush, and then only one of 2 AoWs if possible.
#39: "hohoho" is a Jaoodaism so I threw it in for kicks. Jaood is tired and overused like that. :D j/k
Now I have to BR a game where Jaood wins to maintain cosmic balance.

Hmmm, one thing I don't think he mentioned was that the peon i used to jump into the burrow to attack the potm harass stayed in the burrow for about 75% of the game. 4 peons on gold sucks. :(
But was fun game still. After looking at replay I could won a couple times if I had just attacked instead of waiting, or if I had bothered to check for expo ^_^.
But shadow melding and surrounding my units? Genious, yet cruel [;], fun times. |

Although one would assume that this report would pale in comparison with The WarCraft Report (and it did in some respects) this was still on my top list of most enjoyable Battle Reports. Your writing and humor skills are just plain sexy. And that pic with two point of views for shadowmeld was some of the funniest shit ever.
Bleh I know thats no real advice or critisicm or anything, but this report was all that it promised to be (a great read) and just enough more. If you do this every weekend, this site is halfway to redemption.. |
