| Good pic borders add to the picture without dominating it. Yours were so busy and massive that I honestly couldn't tell half the time whether you had pics in there or not. |

This report was better and it was worse than the other report.
Pros:
1. The pictures contained more action but were fuzzier.
2. Descriptions were better and your explanations of strategies/tactics was good.
Cons:
1. BR was just too wide for me, (1024) had to go up to 1152 to see everything.
2. The picture backgrounds and background were much better but they didn't match the BR itself (PS. those spraypaint arrows are ugly. got anything better?). I personally prefer less background and more of the actually important pictures (for the pictures).
3. DETAIL! Most of the battles were completely vague (worse than previous report) "started dancing and microing". Vagueness is ok for unimportant battles but major battles need details.
4. The game still didn't seem very good, either the game wasn't very good or you aren't expressing it well. Plus isn't EE supposed to go through levels of development? None seen so far, or not well described.

Suggestios:
1. Include sidenotes on your enemy, his level of development, what he had, etc. Even if you didn't know these things at the time, it helps us to understand what was happening.
2. Include whole map shots with the major battles collages and indicate where things were happening.
3. More details on battles. Before, During, and After. Some details were better, but others were worse since you assumed we remembered from the previous BR (Most of us don't).
4. GrammAr (whee an 'A') was acceptable but short sentences did disrupt flow slightly.
I'd have to say 6 - 6.5 Good attempt though.
PS. Ignore Time, it cheapens you if you pay attention to him. |

Way too wide, and remember to zoom in once in awhile, the pictures are pretty much useless to me since they only display 6 pixel footsoldiers :(

in spit of my amazin flamin...this was a huge improvement. the pics still need lots of work, the background with the slim onthe side didnt aply, just black would have done better, the background for the pics dont work either, but it really is better than anything you put out yet.

It's pretty good. I read the entire thing and I agree with the constructive comments above, except it wasn't too wide for me :-) .
The writing sucked, but it was still a great improvement.
Instead of calling your opponent, "Red", use his name, but color it red (it is an html webpage after all). You might try writing in 3rd person, like a real reporter. Pretend you are watching a battle between someone named "some_god" and "playEEgame", so instead of writing "I did this and that", you can say "some_god did this and that".

Pictures where nice, but a bit small, and undetailed. That big battle looked pretty exciting. You should have started rebuilding your economy the same time you tried that last ditch attack.
You mention you ran out of food. You should mention the consequences of running out of food, since most of us don't know EE. What bad thing happens? Can't make new units, will old units get weaker, can't heal, or what?

| You might want to try another era. I'm getting a little tired of reading about just Dragoons, Cuirassiers and infantry. The strategy and flow of your games seem pretty simple. Or maybe you can try to observe a game between more expert players, and report on that. I certainly want to see another of your EE reports, but with something different or more complex. |

Hmm. Well some_god, you've certainly created some...how should I put this..."mixed" feelings about your reports. First, you release decent BR's, then flame/spam to the point of not being funny, then this BR comes out. Personally, I don't think flaming everyone was a good way to get ratings, but that's just me.
ANYWAY, on to the report. The screen was TOO BIG for my poor monitor, and the pics were grainy. Then again, I can count the pixels of every unit on one hand, so I'll ignore that. Background in pics was annoying. If a battle's going on, I don't wanna see flowers or pretty trees.
Text was okay, but you need more ages in the game. How about the full time-span idea? Sounds cool. Lasers vs cave men...muahaha. The TIME things were cool,though.

Just shows that the writing is the most important part of a battlereport.
I actually haven't read this yet, I'll do so later. Just by glancing at this report I must comment on your.. erm.. interesting artistic direction. You may have wanted to fix the background so that it doesn't repeat across the report table. The nature background theme for your collages lacked cohesiveness and seemed out of place, in my opinion.
At any rate, I'll read this fully and rate this later.

Mini map updates, gj. Put more information in your big pics. Text and such. Example: in part of report entitled "Double featured battle" you have a screen filling pic with 4 little screenshots and the only text on the whole pic is "meanwhile". Maybe under each lil screenshot you could have a small description of what the screenie is actually depicting. And then maybe you could even throw in a mini map with helpful circles and arrows in your giant pics.
I would comment on its wideness, but that wouldn't be very original.

add more funny stuff. read hitchhiker's guide to galaxy for funny stuff help, then read catch-22. If that doesn't help read Atlas Shrugged, or die trying.

Near flawless grammar is nice, but the important thing is to just work on descriptive writing, etc. If you follow Who'sGotLag.IDO's suggestions, I guarentee that your next report will get an 8 or better.
