Remember that a report is really an HTML file. When you submit, regular carriage returns look good in the typing box, but they will disappear when the HTML file is "read" by a web browser. On the submit page, you should see the checkboxes:
I will insert my own <BR> tags into my report.
Please replace my newline characters with <BR> tag
If you do the first (on by default) this is what happens. If you do the second, every place you think should be a new line will actually be one.
Besides that, it was actually pretty competently written for a first BR. The text doesn't always shine but it wasn't horrible. If you had gone into a little more detail in the late game (watch the replay, what were they doing for 5 mintues?) it might have been more exciting. Details details...
4.5 - 5.0 b/c I read it with View Source. No doubt people will piss and moan about it. :D

| goblin land mines? Was this an old game on 1.01? Also, you said you had shamans and dryads, all bloodlusted. I thought dryads were immune to all magic, unless your just referring to the shamans, then it's just the way you worded your sentance that threw me off. |

Ok. Now for the report.
First of all, this had no paragraphs. People need them. Do whatever CB said. And I also think you make the br longer and then split it into different parts. Also you should add some colors. Just throw in a <font color=blue> tag for example. This will make your br nicer to look at. If you need help with your HTML there's plenty of good sites out there.
You might want to check out Phyber Optik's HTML at this site in the "guides" section. Finally, go see in Some_God's last EE comment section and look at what I told him to do.

Actually, the text wasn't that bad. Props to CattleBruiser for pointing out the obvious to me. It looks quite a lot better in the view source.
I agree, however, with the fact that you must learn html. It's instrymental to a good report. |

There should be a forced preview before submission. That would (hopefully) banish the no-paragraph problem that plagues many newbie battlereporters.
