I said earlier that I would release this installment last Saturday rather than today (Sunday.) I've decided to move the release date to Sunday for several reasons:
1) I can have more time to revise the installment over the weekend and have a final revision Sunday morning. On saturday, I wouldn't have enough time.
2) This paticular installment, and the next coming few, are IMO of less quality than the first one. I'm having trouble getting the plot figured out so I took an extra day to do that. Now that I know where the plot's going, the next few installments will increase in quality.
3) Sunday is just cooler than Saturday.

| This was really good, and I don't say that often. The sort of thing that makes me feel like writing myself. Also, it's good that this is being released in installments--the "fairy tale" tone is nice but would get tiresome after a while. Some minor inconsistencies but nothing important. Also, I thought the "dark spiky figure" was kind of cheesy and didn't fit in with the tone of the rest of the story. But anyway, great job! I hope you beat your 8 from last time. |
