Besides the tactics being blindingly obvious to anyone who has an interest in CS, this was pretty nice. It was an excellent review of the basics, but that's what it was, the basics... Basically, CS is like every other game, in where the more you play, the better you become. And just like every other game, when you have better competition to play against, you become better yourself. My best "guide" now is just to bookmark some really good servers, preferrably German, as those guys usually are good, and just play on those. |

Let me just state two facts:
1) If I wanted a CS guide, I could've found one elsewhere
2) This is not a battlereport and on top of that has nothing to do with any form of strategy game.
However, for your effort and the fact that this was readable/somewhat enjoyable/a decent beginner's guide, I'd give you a 6-7 for this. |

Hey, I thought this was pretty good personally, many people post MechWarrior reports, how is this different? CounterStrike is an interesting, fast-paced, and at some times funny game, just like StarCraft and many other strategy games. I believe there is a certain strategy to it, and it's good to have it discussed and shared in some way.

In my opinion there is no such thing as the complet and most perfect guide to CS,because every author just puts in what he thinks is true,meaning what will work for him,and not general facts,this i think is the problem with every so-called "Guide" ,just like SC,CS,MW,and all the rest...

only decent thing about this was the pic at the end, these are the most trashy "tactics" ive ever seen, i mean they would only work against someone with like 1500 ping and a half empty glock.
btw why the hell would you use the pump shotty over the automatic, they both do the same damage but the auto fires about 4 times as fast. |

| I liked this report because of the circle strafe techniqe, which will work with ANY gun. Pump owns auto any day, if you know how to use it. O btw, my fav gun is the TMP, it owns, especcially with cirlcle/strafe. AWP=cool |
