For some reason I left out one thing in the report. Right as his gully push was destroying my robo fac, I charged him with ~20 dragoons and zealots. I did no damage however, as mines hurt my zealots and his army of sieged tanks did the rest of the slaughter.
I pulled back with only 6 dragoons left. I guess I should have just held the middle as long as I could while getting more gateways or stargates online. Doh. |

I think you should have scouted him much earlier (with probe # 7 - 9), and you would have had the chance to take his gas, which will hurt a teching terran a lot.
Also, u only had zeals and goons........some temps or Reavers will help as well. In any case it is important to get transport and observatory fast vs a heavy metal terran.

Only things i can say are: more details pls! the game progresesed so fast it was incredible. also, check your grammar. Tenses were constantly switched up
but as far as all writing goes, this is not bad. you even show yourself dieing ;)

Well, he probably wasn't planing on taking screen pictures during the game, and he could have refered to his replay, but then he would have also have been able to tell us what the other guy was doing. Considering it appears the entire BR was done on memory from the game, I thought it was pretty good.
I think more detail would have been nice too, maybe next time you could look over the replay and take a few notes on some things that happened, even if it is still just from your point of view.
I say 6-7, leaning towards a 7. Good job. |

It's easy to ever-expand vs terran cos u are convinced your 20 goons will kill everytyhing until he introduces tanks....

I haven't seen the replay, but you should have had ~7-10 observers whoring all over the map giving away his every move, and u also should have had his army hitting on your front-line troops, not on your expansion. You should be rally6ing troops to the middle of the map so you can flank well and pull back if u have to. If you don't do this then you're in trouble, cos u'll end up trrying to attack down a ramp or out of a valley, and trust me, you can't get out of a valley cost-effectively if 8 tanks are seiged up at the entrance unless you're a lucky bastard =p

| Thank god a good text-only. If there aren't enough good ones like this one, they are going to become unacceptable as a whole, not just in the eyes of Iggy and WLJ. Good job, just need to be a bit more verbose in your descriptions, maybe play it up a bit. e.g. "The brave robotic warriors advanced grimly on the offending refinery and proceeded to utterly destroy it with their mighty particle beams" or something cool like that. |

| Good BR. I haven't looked at the replay but I guess I would have built those 10 gateways instead of expanding. And maybe speedy shuttles dropping zealots/reavers on the tanks might have been an option (if he didn't have wraiths, turrets or goliaths. Anyway I didn't see the replay yet so those are just ideas. |

A good shot at a well-written text-only report. I'd like to see what you can do text-only in a game that you're observing... details were light here, but the action kept moving.
