This report wasn't very good but good for a first try. If you plan on trying to do remember to write in complete sentences. Some of the sentences ran together and said stuff like "In a last ditch effort hoky_poky warps in some cannons but they are killled by hoky_poky leaves the game". Once you learn to use sentences you can move on to pics etc.

I just played vs ling today. I was Zerg he was Toss. To make a short story uhh well short. I dropped 5 overlords with hydras with speed and range upgrade along with 2 overlords with lurkers into his base via the back door, and well.
No more base. He did attack me with his (Pitifully few) troops and did nothing to my home defense.

Actually the game didn't seem short at all, 8-9 minutes can be a pretty good game and most properly played games last that much or a bit more, but in this case it just wasn't really interesting (to me at least). Protoss made corsairs and zealots (3-4 corsairs at least if I got it right) against hydras + lurkers... not good ;( Also you should have way more details I think
If there was somehthing special about the game or players, like those one-sided but very funny games Montaro vs. HerbalAvenger that King-Lewis reported a while ago, I would care, but here there didn't seem to be much of interest. ;(
Still I hope you try to make another, better BR

a tag short for a first br. When i started br'ing, my br's wwere up to 8 pages long on ms word. But it's good that youy know how to summarize well. but this game was plainly a tad too short to be br'ed. Your next largest problem was that the colors for ling-erie seemed to alternate alot. Purple most of the time, blue once. Images, as you probably know, are standard with br's, so to do that you need a) a half decent pic editor (ms paint included)
b) some html sense (the code is <img src location>
c) know the location of the print screen key
d) As long as you have images, might as well have alt-text
Whenever your build orders take up as much space as half of your actual text, that's bad. Overall, not the best 1st report out there, but a fair start. I can' predict a rating cause text br's seem to be doing better than usual. Joe, a 9 is way too high

That was in actual fact well over 15 minutes, you should have strung out the BR, as u missed loads of details like i tore doen his expansion with lings WHILST containing his troops above his ramp with lurrkers. You also forgot to say when he expanded, and how i had to keep re-calling my hydras back to fight the sairs. I n=only had 5 for ages as i had no supply to build more.
Also, in the 1st battle, you never said anything about it. I had 7 lings, he had 3 zealots and a probe, It was micro-intensive (don't laugh deon, FU) in that i used my libngs to pick off probes, and my drones to protect my sunken colony. Also, mention building placement, i put the sunken deep within my peon line so it covered everything, but was protectable with drones too.
I could go on, but despite it's flaws i'd give it a 10 as i won =]

The Mad Proofreader has come to the conclusion that Ling is dyslexic, especially since he can't even spell Psyonic_Reaver's name right :P Anyway, I obsed that game and it was pretty damn one-sided. One-sided games are hella boring... don't br them. And something besides Temple would be nice (as always, ground's crusade against nh maps pushes slowly forward). Pics, aside from depicting action-packed moments, also show where buildings are in bases (where were the stargates? were they vulnerable? etc.). You should've at least had some pictures at the bottom. I say a 2 because: no pics, it was a bad game to begin with, very short br, and the writing had no personality, no panache. Work on that, add some humor or something (I forget who did the "goon soup" br, but that was a good example). On the other hand, there weren't too many English language errors in the br, and... umm.... hrm. Well, you get the point. Better luck next time.

BTW, i lost the re-match of this, possibly the worst game i ever played.
me at 12:00 (P) Him at 3(Z) and i off-cannon below his choke with +1 attack zealots and 3 cannons.
Then he kills my main with lurks, i take 6:00 main and nat and 9:00 main and he takes the island and so i have 3 bases he has 2. I then lose to gaurdians and hydra as i forgot all game to make any good units what-so-ever (temps/reavers) and he played fairly well despite the whole off-cannon thing. Zerg > carriers and sairs btw
Worst game ever, but you can see how bad i really am when not playing well.

This report wasn't very good but good for a first try. If you plan on trying to do remember to write in complete sentences. Some of the sentences ran together and said stuff like "In a last ditch effort hoky_poky warps in some cannons but they are killled by hoky_poky leaves the game". Once you learn to use sentences you can move on to pics etc.

I just played vs ling today. I was Zerg he was Toss. To make a short story uhh well short. I dropped 5 overlords with hydras with speed and range upgrade along with 2 overlords with lurkers into his base via the back door, and well.
No more base. He did attack me with his (Pitifully few) troops and did nothing to my home defense.

Actually the game didn't seem short at all, 8-9 minutes can be a pretty good game and most properly played games last that much or a bit more, but in this case it just wasn't really interesting (to me at least). Protoss made corsairs and zealots (3-4 corsairs at least if I got it right) against hydras + lurkers... not good ;( Also you should have way more details I think
If there was somehthing special about the game or players, like those one-sided but very funny games Montaro vs. HerbalAvenger that King-Lewis reported a while ago, I would care, but here there didn't seem to be much of interest. ;(
Still I hope you try to make another, better BR

a tag short for a first br. When i started br'ing, my br's wwere up to 8 pages long on ms word. But it's good that youy know how to summarize well. but this game was plainly a tad too short to be br'ed. Your next largest problem was that the colors for ling-erie seemed to alternate alot. Purple most of the time, blue once. Images, as you probably know, are standard with br's, so to do that you need a) a half decent pic editor (ms paint included)
b) some html sense (the code is <img src location>
c) know the location of the print screen key
d) As long as you have images, might as well have alt-text
Whenever your build orders take up as much space as half of your actual text, that's bad. Overall, not the best 1st report out there, but a fair start. I can' predict a rating cause text br's seem to be doing better than usual. Joe, a 9 is way too high

That was in actual fact well over 15 minutes, you should have strung out the BR, as u missed loads of details like i tore doen his expansion with lings WHILST containing his troops above his ramp with lurrkers. You also forgot to say when he expanded, and how i had to keep re-calling my hydras back to fight the sairs. I n=only had 5 for ages as i had no supply to build more.
Also, in the 1st battle, you never said anything about it. I had 7 lings, he had 3 zealots and a probe, It was micro-intensive (don't laugh deon, FU) in that i used my libngs to pick off probes, and my drones to protect my sunken colony. Also, mention building placement, i put the sunken deep within my peon line so it covered everything, but was protectable with drones too.
I could go on, but despite it's flaws i'd give it a 10 as i won =]

The Mad Proofreader has come to the conclusion that Ling is dyslexic, especially since he can't even spell Psyonic_Reaver's name right :P Anyway, I obsed that game and it was pretty damn one-sided. One-sided games are hella boring... don't br them. And something besides Temple would be nice (as always, ground's crusade against nh maps pushes slowly forward). Pics, aside from depicting action-packed moments, also show where buildings are in bases (where were the stargates? were they vulnerable? etc.). You should've at least had some pictures at the bottom. I say a 2 because: no pics, it was a bad game to begin with, very short br, and the writing had no personality, no panache. Work on that, add some humor or something (I forget who did the "goon soup" br, but that was a good example). On the other hand, there weren't too many English language errors in the br, and... umm.... hrm. Well, you get the point. Better luck next time.

This report wasn't very good but good for a first try. If you plan on trying to do remember to write in complete sentences. Some of the sentences ran together and said stuff like "In a last ditch effort hoky_poky warps in some cannons but they are killled by hoky_poky leaves the game". Once you learn to use sentences you can move on to pics etc.

I just played vs ling today. I was Zerg he was Toss. To make a short story uhh well short. I dropped 5 overlords with hydras with speed and range upgrade along with 2 overlords with lurkers into his base via the back door, and well.
No more base. He did attack me with his (Pitifully few) troops and did nothing to my home defense.

Actually the game didn't seem short at all, 8-9 minutes can be a pretty good game and most properly played games last that much or a bit more, but in this case it just wasn't really interesting (to me at least). Protoss made corsairs and zealots (3-4 corsairs at least if I got it right) against hydras + lurkers... not good ;( Also you should have way more details I think
If there was somehthing special about the game or players, like those one-sided but very funny games Montaro vs. HerbalAvenger that King-Lewis reported a while ago, I would care, but here there didn't seem to be much of interest. ;(
Still I hope you try to make another, better BR

the difference between you and a great reporter:
1. roughtly 30-40 pictures that most the time arn't needed
2. making that short game seem like it took an hour with details
3. getting the colors right on the players name

a tag short for a first br. When i started br'ing, my br's wwere up to 8 pages long on ms word. But it's good that youy know how to summarize well. but this game was plainly a tad too short to be br'ed. Your next largest problem was that the colors for ling-erie seemed to alternate alot. Purple most of the time, blue once. Images, as you probably know, are standard with br's, so to do that you need a) a half decent pic editor (ms paint included)
b) some html sense (the code is <img src location>
c) know the location of the print screen key
d) As long as you have images, might as well have alt-text
Whenever your build orders take up as much space as half of your actual text, that's bad. Overall, not the best 1st report out there, but a fair start. I can' predict a rating cause text br's seem to be doing better than usual. Joe, a 9 is way too high

That was in actual fact well over 15 minutes, you should have strung out the BR, as u missed loads of details like i tore doen his expansion with lings WHILST containing his troops above his ramp with lurrkers. You also forgot to say when he expanded, and how i had to keep re-calling my hydras back to fight the sairs. I n=only had 5 for ages as i had no supply to build more.
Also, in the 1st battle, you never said anything about it. I had 7 lings, he had 3 zealots and a probe, It was micro-intensive (don't laugh deon, FU) in that i used my libngs to pick off probes, and my drones to protect my sunken colony. Also, mention building placement, i put the sunken deep within my peon line so it covered everything, but was protectable with drones too.
I could go on, but despite it's flaws i'd give it a 10 as i won =]

Well done adrenaling!rush for 1st go, but you have LOADS to learn, msg me in the channel and i'll give you more hints if u want, but basically, about 3-4 times more detail, even if it's not entirely accurate, so long as it's all you remember, then you get a good br out of a short game =]

The Mad Proofreader has come to the conclusion that Ling is dyslexic, especially since he can't even spell Psyonic_Reaver's name right :P Anyway, I obsed that game and it was pretty damn one-sided. One-sided games are hella boring... don't br them. And something besides Temple would be nice (as always, ground's crusade against nh maps pushes slowly forward). Pics, aside from depicting action-packed moments, also show where buildings are in bases (where were the stargates? were they vulnerable? etc.). You should've at least had some pictures at the bottom. I say a 2 because: no pics, it was a bad game to begin with, very short br, and the writing had no personality, no panache. Work on that, add some humor or something (I forget who did the "goon soup" br, but that was a good example). On the other hand, there weren't too many English language errors in the br, and... umm.... hrm. Well, you get the point. Better luck next time.

BTW, i lost the re-match of this, possibly the worst game i ever played.
me at 12:00 (P) Him at 3(Z) and i off-cannon below his choke with +1 attack zealots and 3 cannons.
Then he kills my main with lurks, i take 6:00 main and nat and 9:00 main and he takes the island and so i have 3 bases he has 2. I then lose to gaurdians and hydra as i forgot all game to make any good units what-so-ever (temps/reavers) and he played fairly well despite the whole off-cannon thing. Zerg > carriers and sairs btw
Worst game ever, but you can see how bad i really am when not playing well.

sure, even good players wouldnt scout that min only too early...but once they find it you can't even defend the damn thing...and if you decide to counter their main? Yeah, their zeals are right fucking there and you're screwed.
I would have played far more conservatively in 12 v 3...
