Nice first, could've used more pics like you said yourself, you've gotta perfect the art of BSing to make it seem longer then it is, if you look at other reports, they make 20 minute games go on 'n on for pages, but never seem to get boring (the good ones, obviously).
gw, with some practice, you'll be great, biggest point I can make is more pics...all text is great, but if you're gonna have pics, just have more =) |

Well, I was reading ling's comments and I actually thought that it was a very GG...flare just left a few things out. Some in-game chat would have been nice too...such as when i said "u better not be terran" at the start and then "ASDF" when i scouted and found out that he was. Also, that final battle was a lot more drawn-out than you made it seem. I kept sending wave after wave of zeal/goon at him and had broken into his main when the 6 carriers finally arrived. Some pics of my miserable dt drop would have been nice too. Also, it would be good to mention that i killed 4-6 tanks by dropping a zealot or 2 next to them. A few other pieces of text that would have been good was when i said "it must suck to be one of my zeals" and "zeals are the toss version of scourge"...at least that's the kind of stuff i like to see in BRs. Might have been good to mention that he sped a vulture around my containment and started shooting up probes at my nat too. Hmmm, this is more of an opinion comment, but i never really felt that he could have pushed out on me if he tried like you made it seem...i could be wrong though; i agree he was too passive.
All in all, a good first BR. If you ever need a player to be in another BR, look me up ^_^. I love attention. Keep up the good work! |

some things.

so I forgot to mention stuff like "Jam tosses a fleet beacon to his 6:00 expo." Which was where they WERE being built =)
Jam: Another few details that were so small that they slipped. He had about 8-10 tanks and 6-8 vults w/ mines...
he could have gotten out, he just needed more confidence.

| Final, i only say this because y don't NEED a note pad..... both mine were done with no notes except the initial BO's, all the rest was done in each game from the 100 ss per game,and the fact that i did the text within 14 hours of the game so i didn't forget it. I know this is unorthadox, but go to ally option in the game at the start to get the names in a ss, get an early minimap ss (like u did) and afterwards just keep track of the action by mass ss, not losing track with notes unless it's too intense. Seriously, i think it's easier to put the curser to highlight the relevant action (highlight a tank if it's a tank push time etc) and do it from ss and memory STRAIGHT AFTER the game (like you did) and smoke less pot because it fucks up yer short term memory really badly! =P |

Nice go at a first one. The game wasn't particularly smashing, and you could have used some better pics. But hey it's not a bad one. Find yourself a better game, make liberal use of that print screen key, and it's golds in no time flat.

WHOA! I got a damn 1 on my first Battle Report. Jeez, 'Final`Flare' you're going to make me look like trash. (Not that I don't look like it already.) Hehe.
Seriously, you have some pretty good writing skills. No offense, but the game kind of sucked. Your writing kept me into it, though. Go out and find yourself a nice good 45 minute game full of attacking, exchange of map control, fast counters, etc. I really think you could be a gold reporter if you were to find a good game.
Try getting games together specifically for BR's. This way, you can pause to empty your SS's folder without people getting mad or unpausing. Pop into Clan ~NoHunters asking for the game type you wanna BR. Then, whenever an important structure, unit, or strategy is built/used, click on it, take a SS, and remember it/write it down (on paper, not an external program. Haha.)
A better game and a tiny bit more detail should make your BR's kick some terribly serious ass. Good work, 'Final`Flare'.

I might start using print screen... for now I'm using Hypersnap DX which makes me press scroll lock, however, it can screw up your picks unless it's registered. (Adds a spam tag at the top of every pic, but I can get around it with my gosu skills)
I made the game sound more 1-sided than it was. Uncle~jam (yellow, the victor) even stated that he had trouble.
I think I made it sound like white was REALLY stuck in his base. He could have snuck an SCV on the right side of the dragoons... the broken mini-map was to show how far out the goons were.

'Final`Flare', that was just a helpful hint for the future. I wasn't talking about that particular game. The point I was trying to make is that in the future (a few significant words I left out. Hehe.) you should be sure both players know you're reporting it so that they don't get mad when the observer pauses. Usually, they'll just unpause since the observer isn't playing, and in that case, your Battle Report will be in the trash.
Am I still speaking Swahili to everyone here? (Everyone here who doesn't understand Swahili, that is.)
