Great report, but AAARRGGGHH!!! I thought from the title that it might actually be possible for terran to beat toss on Temple! You are a whore for getting my hopes up and then dashing them so cruelly. :) Great job on the report - your writing was excellent and your pictures added a lot. And WTF was up with that wall-in?! I saw it and thought the game was over.

Seriously though, neither side really needed them until about the last attack of the game, both were doing ok without. I have a feeling (i didn't hear the pre-game chat) that this was a pre-agreed no air goon v metal matchup, although i have no idea really since QuickSilver01's BO was a typical anti-random build (pylon-gate-gate-pylon-gas-core)..... Well, i guess we'll never know, and Let_Me_Win!!! can't even remember playing the game (it was in January) so he doesn't know either, and i've never seen QuickSilver01 since...

| What the fuck do u mean, "neither side needed air units"?! The terran bastard would have been dead a LOT sooner if protoss had carriers. What kind of an idiot tries to counter tanks with goons? Look at it this way, pal. One scout > 15 tanks. 10 carriers > any number of tanks. So "no air needed" MY ASS!!!!!! |

| He won without carriers, thus he didn't need them, somple as that. They may have sped it up a little, ended the game sooner etc, but in re-directing the resources he used on goons/temp/zeals to carrier production, he would have possibly lost in the gap where he had less units, AND, the Terran was at 3:3 ground units and scouted well, so if carriers had come, he'd have had 3:3 goliaths to counter them whilst the carriers would be 0:0 or at most 1:1. Carriers may have helped end it sooner, but he didn't NEED them as he won without them. Trust me, at the pace of that matchup, carrier expendature would have ruined him and been gg to Terran! I saw the game, and i know! |

great report. easy 8. pics were nice and reading was good too. i kno this is a comment section of a br but T > P =[ and carriers = a waste cuz golies hurt alot vs carriers (and no gayweb is only for newbs)
