Would anyone like to say anything about the actual fic, and not the fact that you all hate them. A quality piece of writing (not mine) might be staring you in the face, and you wouldn't read it because your so stupid to think otherwise. If you don't like fan-fics, do the following:
1. Don't bother me about it
2. You can bitch and moan but it ain't gonna do jack shit.
3. Get your ass off this site

| I didn't like this very much, for most of the same reasons I stated in part one. Also, Terran Commanders wouldn't take orders from a ghost, and if the CC lifted off, the Nuke silo wouldn't work! Think about the reports a little before you post them! (also the dream and "suspense" was pretty stupid.) |

I think that this one wasent as good as the other. I think its that you are trying to have all this action happening at once. I think its better to have a little action that you can picture easy then to have lots of action that just kinda happens really fast. The other problem is that you seemed to rush from scene to scene. Take time to make each one good other then that i think you do have some potential.

im not sure if its word 4 word but: "youve got to get out there and heal people, even if it does cause cancer"... nobody would say that cancer part, its just not something said in the heat of battle (and since when is death preferable to cancer anyway?), 2nd, in the first part he shoots the hydras with lock shells then leaves thinking the bunker would hold out,, he left the attle to get a drink??? hes a ghost not a f"cking pussy, terran soldiers shouldnt leave fellow soldiers just cuz they can handle it alone, especially not to flirt with a medic no matter how cute they are ("you want ANOTHER sponge bath?")
but you show potential, just dont rush, and for gods sake dont post after a great fanfic like shockwaves, cuz what talent you have just gets overshadowd
keep practicing, and try to get us a fanfic section!

I think you want constructive comments. I am a somewhat-established writer. That's what I'm told by other people. There was one problem with this story. The sentences were short. Complex clauses, much like the one that I'm using right now, could not be found in this thing to save your LIFE- and one of the keys to writing stronger is being able to hold more than one thought in a sentence. When it is appropriate, anyway. It was a major stylistic problem. I didn't like it. Too many fics use short clauses. This was no different. I didn't like it. Other people have said why they don't like it. I do not hold all their opinions. There were flaws in the methods. Other people have pointed those out.
Wasn't that annoying to read? Much like your own work, the preceeding paragraph used the noun-verb-object structure that a lot of people just don't seem to ever grow out of. Nary a comma that linked a different thought. Passive tense. Wasn't very enjoyable. |

Don't truly be embarrased. If you look at every fan fic in here, the comments are similar to the ones here. Simply put, many people don't like fanfics in a battleports site since it doesn't realy fit (saying "leave the site" is like telling someone on a starcraft forum to leave because they don't want to read about the geologic rock cycle). Even shock's, which is worshiped right now, is recieving those statments. To be honest, I don't believe fan fics should be here either. The forum seems a better location untill a fanfic section pops up. However, when looking for comments as to how good it is, looking there might not be that great (though don't ignore the ones asking you to be accurate of the SC world).
Overall, Akuma's, Jester's, and Genesis's comments are the best ones to look on. Don't be embarrassed at those comments either; in fact, those are the notes you want (more so then praise.. how can you know what to improve by just listening to "It's good" comments?). Grab those, write more (with the comments in mind), read good literature, write more, find someone that will tear it apart in critisism(no, I can't spell :P), learn more, wash rinse repeat, send money to me (worth a shot :P). The big thing is to NOT consider this a reason to stop writing, but to write more (just, perhaps, not a BR.. unless the writing IS a BR, or at least looks like one)
