The way you'd referred to them as colors, they might have well have been comps...Also, try working from build order, that seems to be the standard route. I couldn't really picture it in my mind, because there's only two ways to do that; pics, or good descriptive writing, and I didn't see either. It could be worse, though. A LOT worse. |

| This is a sad 3v3. Either that or you are leaving out WAY too much detail. Next time choose a better, longer or more interesting game. Try refering to players by their names and try harder next time. An admirable try but it falls a few lamb chops short of a mixed grill. |

First I don't think you should tell who won at the beginning..that kinda takes the suprise out of the ending...also at first I thought it was a Team Melee...Hell maybe it was I didn't read every word since I already knew who was gonna win...anyways nice try, better luck next time.

Well, not much here to work with on your report. It was like a car moving by me at high speed, you saw a flash of something, but couldn't make out who was driving or what the car looked like. Here's a little advice incase you do decide to make another battle report.
- Details. Now while your report did have some details about the attacks, albiet very brief. You need to add the in-between stuff. Have build orders, tell what competitor was going for, what the attacks did for the team and what effect the attacks would have on the game. Make sure to include expansion attempts and anything special the competitors did to increase their chances of winning.
- Intro. While the intro did serve its purpose in telling us this was a tournament type match, you should include a little something on the players themselves. A little info on players I don't know will make me care about the game more.
- Seperating players names with color. When you have a 3 vs. 3 it's hard to keep up with who is doing what. Look into doing some colors for the players names. I agree, its a tedious, monotonous process of repeating the HTML code over and over again, but it will enhance your report, and make the readers reading that much more enjoyable.
- Try to do a 1vs1 next time, it will be easier for the reader to follow, and a good start for your next battle report.
Don't stop writing, this site can use all the authors it can get (Not saying there aren't enough, but more would be nice.) Just concentrate on your writing right now, and as soon as that is squared away, then dive into the land of HTML and pics, but not before. |
