An overall good first report.
Yellowish text + blue background = bad
Try to use something that is pleasing to the eye, I had to highlight some of the text in order to read it. The pics were ok, did you use paint?
Writing was ok as there were times where you could of been a bit more descriptive.

I liked this report... nice for a first one!
Well, about any combination is good, as long as the colours are not too similar --> use colours that are discernible one from another.
Well, I gree with testosterone, it was a bite <i>unclear</i> (i mean lacking details) from time to time... Well, actually I was surprised by the unit scores at the end... ~200 units lost on both sides. There were too few battle shots imo. I mean pics of actual combat. That's why I was surprised by the scores, you didn't show the big battles...
anyway, good work for a first report...

| Well, the problem was, there were no major conflicts. When Gosu made the final push to Dorfl's main, Dorfl had just lost most of his standing army during his last attack. Most of the game was Dorfl containing Gosu. Thanks for the comments though...wow, an 8? I must have done better than I thought. |

All right, let's do this thing, as The Good, Bad, and the Ugly strikes this report! *Muhahahahahaha.*
The Good-
Very good writing that detailed every movement.
Very quality pics, nicely down and arranged properly.
Good game, both players attacked and counter-attacked. Just the way mes likes it.
The Bad-
While the writing was very good, for some reason it was dry, like white meat turkey sitting in the sun all day. Maybe it's just me (And probably is) but it didn't seem you were excited about the game, sounded like you were sitting through it going "God will this end soon." That's what I got from the writing, your excitement just wasn't in there.
The first half pictures (Excluding the players name pic, although that one was a little generic) were unnecessary as they added nothing to the report. In fact, like Rommels report yesterday, the first half pics were extremly boring.
Also, please, have screen shots of buildings already finished, I didn't know what a few of the Protosses screens were until I saw the Alt Text on them. That just added to more boredom for the pic. We all know what buildings warping in look like, as well as what 3 forges look like for that matter. You could have simple wrote, he built 3 forges to upgrade quicker and left it at that. Trust me, we will beleive you, and we don't need a screenshot to prove it. That would cut on your time in making the report too, me thinks.
The Ugly-
I'm unsure if the Alt Text in the pics was supposed to be funny or not, but yeesh, they all bombed on me. A few even had me scratching my head saying "WTF". Like the Rumplestiltskin Alt Text (Second or third pic I think), please explain that one for me. I'm sure you were trying to add humor to it, and it appeared you were trying to hard to do it. Use the force young one with Alt-Text, use the force, let yourself go Khas, let yourself go. Khas, I'm your fathe...eh, sorry, I'm getting carried away now.
Report Card Reads-
Writing- A- (Would be an A, but it was a little dry)
Pic Quality- A
Pic Selection- B (The first half of the reports pics were not needed, the second half, good selection, me likes action pics.)
Entertainment- B+ (The lack of your excitement, brought mine down a notch.)
Overall- A-
Game Comments- Good first battle report. This one was like YoungBeards in that you go on my immediately to read list. Keep up the good work, you definently have the grasp very well on Battle Reporting, all you need now is a little fine tuning, and every Khas'Andro report will be "Gold"!
I suspect this report will get a definite 8, with quite possible some 9's and an outside chance at a 10. If I were rating, I'd give it a 9 because it's your first report and a damn good on at that. |

GJ for a 1st. You did a great job describing the battle and your pics only helped us know what was going on. However don't use that backround color!! hehe make a color that is easy to read, not something that's going to catch our eye. Also 1on1 games and only 1 of them are not really that exciting unless it's 2 well known players.
Also when doing a 1on1 the game should be very exciting. Unfortunately the way things were going for the toss it looked like the terran was going to win.
You did really good, and the problems I pointed out are easy to fix. Can't wait to see the next one.

Yeah, grabbing a demo version of PSP would have helped you out a lot (if you didn't want to go out and buy it). I made a report with Paint, it's a pain in the ass... PSP is way cooler :)
Anyway, I would recommend playing around with your pics a little more (although I can see the pic editing think being a bit of a prob for that). Collages are great, as are minimaps so we can tell what's going in (putting in Xs and arrows to point out the action is even better). You put in some of those, but not nearly enough.
Overall, great job for a first. :)

| Hmm...a good report. Possibly a 6-7. It does seem, tho, that people are just sort of going through the motions, trying to become 'known' battle reporters, but are missing the very thing that makes battle reports known: originality. Each and every BRer who has become 'famous' at BR.com has contributed something unique to the field of reporting. Drefsab did it with humor, intelligence, and an exposing, honest look at the funny side of B-Net. Heartcutter left his mark with awesome quotes, an indominable Terran spirit, and a general bad ass attitude. For Mark4, it was clear writing and lots of helpful tactical/strategical hints. And I love The...Scarab's BR's simply for his awesome sense of humor and raunchy jokes. The point is, try to bring something new to your BR's. Take a stab at something that may or may not work. This all, of course, coming from a guy who has never written a BR in his life, so take all this with a grain of salt =] |

I'm not sure if you will read this or not, but this report had all the necessary needs and wants that a report requires to get a good rating. At least a 7-8.
Good game, good writing, nice pics. That is the measuring stick you use. Not if they match up with the Hall Of Fame Battle Reporters. And everyone copies off of everyone else but add a little something different in their reports. Sure Khas didn't really have something new, but this is his first report. Everyone starts somewhere, and for a first report, this is a damn good one. That is what you should judge them on as well, how many reports are under his belt.
I agree though that Khas needs his own identity, but jersey, let the man in the door before telling him that. He will get his own identity sooner or later, I'm sure of it. And even if he doesn't, none of those artists you mentioned are even writing reports anymore, so he is filling in for them right now, and that is a good thing, he will advance to his own identity I beleive. We shouldn't be pushing him to do things that are uncomfortable or make him feel that he is ripping off someone else. |

#1 - I am Gosuify.
#2 - He "contained" me. No? He didn't expand, except to his natural. He contained me, because I LET him contain me. I had mines or I scanned all possible expansions. I had recon everywhere, and if he HAD expanded, I would have pushed.
#3 - No show of the battles for the middle spot between us? Where I expanded...

Gosuify, I know you had recon in places, I just refused to mention it...one strange thing was, and I have a screenshot of this, you had a spider mine at one of the bases, and Dorfl had a probe almost right next to it. How come they didn't attack each other?
And he did expand, to the northeast main and natural. I said he contained you because he was constantly pressuring you at your natural, sorry if my meaning was unclear. And I don't remember any large battles anywhere near your expansions, except for the two dragoons that ravaged two of your expansions.
And Sid, don't tell me that my MVP feature wasn't original? I don't remember any BR's that featured anything like that. |

Good first report,just one thing.In the units scores it shows terran making 288 units and protoss making almost 200,yet I read of only small skirmishing totaling only around 50 units for each side(100 total) seeing combat.The only real way for a terran to reach those numbers in a game that seemed to last average time would be infantry,only 1 thing.. I didnt read about any terran infantry at all being used.I guess this only bugs me cause I'm a terran infantry nut.Anyways a good start to a br reporter,hope to see more.
P.S.Name text made me wanna rip my eyes out reading it.I know you were using the players actual colors in the game,but putting their names in black would be just as good,though everyone makes this mistake usually.
