Yea, that was a really good game and I'd like to congratulate worry2 for slappin me around liked a red-headed stepchild. I think If i had teched to ultralisks faster, which inevitably allowed me to ram straight through Worry's siege and bull doze blue's exp oever, I might have done better, as Worry killed off my lurkers with ease.
I guess I never have been that good with lurkers though ;-<.
I think we would have lost that game if helmintes hadn't managed to show Imhotep who's boss ^_~. GG to everyone who played this, and I'm now going to make sure I use those precious little ultras more. |

| I'd like to comment that early on, I too had a triple hatch (altough this was overlooked by the observer). And it was at least 30 hydras that got blue's main... other than that, everything is pretty much accurate. I've got to hand it to you greyhoundbus, an excellent job on that report. I kept coming back here looking for it, but it took a while to show up. I'm glad you took the time to do so well it. When blue got my expansion, I thought to myself,"Alright, I've lost the game... I'm dead without another source of money. Lemme get this bastard with everything I got, to hurt him at best." Turns out that basically saved our hides. Lesson to be learned: Counter attack when you got nothing left. Great BR grey, you can watch our games anytime you want. |

| That's quite a turnaround, Zerg Cerebrates ... congrats. Reminds me of my now rare game a week where I have a great offensive and totally ignore my main base, and subsequently get slaughtered ... No surprise that the unit that turned the tide was the almightly Lurker. Imbalance!!!! =P |

To Omni and Helmintes: You guys did good, but you got lucky =p. You shoulda went for lurkers/scourge(to get vessels)/queens(to broodling tanks and ensare m and m). Hydras aren't exactly the best choice against m and m =p. Me and Tarr had a similair situation 2 zerg v 2 terran. One of us(me) mad teched to guards while tarr's lurkers saved my ass...

| Well, the thing is ralessi, there wasn't really any time to tech, at least not for me. I was making units with WHATEVER larvae I had, blue kept coming and coming. Most of the time, I just kept going back to my hatcheries and hit to make Hydras because he had killed the rest of mine and started attacking my buildings. I would have tried to get scourges and teched, but I need all my gas for hydras and upgrades. Money was tight and I thought I lost the game. If I had time to build up and time to think clearly, I would have at least gotten scourges. It was the hardest game I've ever played in recent history that I won. Game's like that keep me interested in StarCraft. |

gulp... what can i say? Thanks ppl for the kudos. I honestly thought it was a great battle and deserved a good report. BTW Helmintes i did notice the third Hatchery at your main later on, but at the time i was taking early-game notes I only saw the two. I was relying on the later screenshots to tell the rest of the story, but the sole good shot of your main only showed two hatches :(. Sorry if that misled anyone.
I'm hardly capable of accepting any Bengalass BR belts from ~CB~ :). First off, you write reports on battles you actually PLAYED. Second, you take the time to edit those screenshots. Third... well i'm sure anyone familiar with your reports can think of many more.
I was hoping to hear from the Terrans :(. Well the reports only been up less than a day.... here's hoping! Please correct any mistakes you take note off.
Donqui? You had me scared for a moment. I thought at first you were imitating Jar Jar Binks :p. And exactly what does "i is a-wiken fa wetta "o"" mean? |

Like everyone else has already said, very good job (i mean your report offcourse ;) I couldn't comment before cause i had no time to visit this site earlier today.
In game i think i took too much time to manage my troops and i just couldn't manage my building and expanding efficiently enough. In addition i only noticed that Imhotep was in trouble when his main was almost gone. Until that, i thought he was nicely sieging Helmintes.
After that i maybe panicked a bit and wasted my troops in that last attacked that was doomed from the beginning. I had irradiated lurkers (all?) that were in top of that ramp. I also got up and trough a few marines but not nearly enough. Ultras spelled my final doom when they popped from their eggs. Hmm.. now that i checked that shot of my final attack i wonder if i got any marines up that ramp...
Also, like Imhotep states in one screen shot, we should have attacked more together. Game was like 2x 1v1 most of the time. I think it was mainly my fault though... i'm not so good in team play(nor in 1v1 as Omnipresent showed me yesterday on temple). We hadn't played together earlier.
On the other hand I had almost no time to send messages cause i was microing so much.
Anyway, it was a great game. Very intense and Helmintes attacked the right place at the right time. Gratz for both of you.
Oh, and Worry2 is sequel to W()rry. When i started playing, Worry was already taken. Offcourse i had to snatch Worry2.

| Ok, i've heard this "Helmintes got lucky" stuff for too long! I scouted blue with a few suicidal lings and they ran pretty far in his base. I then reasoned he had no defense, so I attacked. If he had bunkers and tanks at the chokes, I would have turned around and attacked his army that was sieging me. It's not ALL luck, it took skill too. Sheesh, gimme a frickin' bone here! Ah well, I agree with worry that it was two 1v1 games at once. Good hunting and good night! |
