Nice BR, but you should know an unofficial Cardinal rule of battlereports.com is "Don't report games you were in." The problem is, to play a good game, you must not concentrate on your report (screen shots, notes, etc) and your report suffers for it. I would suggest observing other peoples' games, taking screen shots and notes, and when you find a good game, make a br out of your notes and screenshots.
Of course, I've not yet been industrious enough to do this, but these guidlines are "pretty darn phat".

Good BR, only problem I really had was that it was huge lump of words. Please use paragraphs freely throughout; it improves the reading by a lot.

yeah, like WLJ said, paragraphs and better grammer would help, pics are always great, it doesnt take too much time to push "Print Screen" every couple of mins. Read Phiber~Optiks HTML guide and you'll see all u need in it.

Hey Snork, found any good games to BR lately? ;-)
Anyway... umm, what can I say but paragraphs man? Just press the enter key a couple of times at the end of a thought. Also, its tough reporting an ffa that you're playing in because you really can't keep track of what's going on. The only time its really safe to do a first person report is when you're doing a 1v1. That way if there's any action, you'll always be in the middle of it.
I'm going to go with a 3 here.

I wouldn't say it's a "cardinal rule" that you don't BR games you're in. Some of the best reports on this site are first-person--I don't think Heartcutter has ever written anything that wasn't. (For that matter, all three of my BRs have been first person, but I don't compare to Heartcutter, so he's a better example.) However, I do agree that BRing a free-for-all in first person is not an easy task. There would inevitably be a lot of gaps where you just didn't know what was going on, and you would have to fill those gaps with speculations, your own plots and strategic musings, and so forth. Possible but difficult, and certainly not a good idea for a first BR.

| well heres the thing, yes I did use paragraphs and I did put in the screenshots but the damn thing didnt work! thx for the comments though ill try to figure out what went wrong and fix this report up asap and ill follow the suggestion of watching others games =). Oh and btw the zerg destroyer the xel naga but the toss also murdered many of them before that. |

I read through it again, I didn't attack j0 until the end of the game, he kept attacking me... And I wasn't concentrating on all the players at once I simpilly was attacked by all the players at once =].
But hey thats what you get when you got all the mineral patches in FFA's. And it was my 4th base u first saw being set up not 3rd =].

| ok guys I need some help, i still cant find out why the pics wont send. This report is still messed up cause the pics arent there plus the paragaphs didnt all come up =(. So why arent the pics workin? Heres what I did, when it asked for the pic, i linked it up to the picture from the sc folder, so what went wrong? any help would be nice cause i dont wanna make another flunker like this without pics heh. |
