Please, <i>please,</i> more detail. You had very flowery writing, but that does not substitute detail. Also, just because you get 400 cracklings b/c you weren't attacked the whole game doesn't mean you're a good player. I would have been more impressed if he had 3 groups of cracklings, 2 groups of hydra, 1 group of guardians, a half dozen ultras and queens, 3 or 4 defilers, and some devs.
But, hey, I'm me. That's what makes me so stupid.
An overall nice report. BGH makes it -10%.

I liked the report. Very entertaining and well written. I'd easily give it a 7 just for the writing ability and effort put into having the words convey the emotion instead of pictures. Some people on this site tend to rely too heavily on the game and the pictures acompanying the report, rather than the report itself.
Although the game was nothing stellar in terms of strategies or map selction, the report was written in a style that portrayed the fun of the game to the reader. Well-written, man. Keep up the good work. Find some more involved games to write about that will demonstrate your writing ability even better.

More details? On bgh? Every game is the same. What details do you need? How about this:
We all built a ton of stuff and a ton of troops and then we attacked a whole bunch and then we finally won. Hell. That's EVERY bgh game. The only reason I wrote about this on is because this zergling monger actually whipped everbody on the other team. I've never seen that done before. I may never see it again. I may never play on b.net again. Who knows?
And as for the rating system, seems fair to me. All bgh battle reports suffer a 10 to 50 point deduction.
I've also noticed the distinct difference between younger reporters and older ones. Us old guys can actually write in our native language. You young kids have all grown up learning how to put on snazzy animated presentations. Yawn. Ho hum. Pretty pictures, no plot, no content, you can't even figure out who won or why. Skip it.
I'd rather read a report with no graphics than try to tunnel through the masses of pointless pictures that get such high ratings in this site. No doubt they're impressive. But they don't tell the story any better than the written word. If you disagree, then tell Stephen King that he doesn't have enough pictures in his books. HAR!
Anyway, thanks for the comments. And ya'll keep posting those reports, too. I still like to read them.
