Truly excellent first BR. Good description, good action pics, fun to read.
Couple Qs: How were upgrades? Were they a factor?
Dunno why, but it seems that if somebody masses troops outside the opponent's base, they often feel an irresistible urge to send everything in, often without a clear picture of whether they will win or just lose all their forces, thereby often giving up map control and the game.
Instead of that initial charge into the toss natural, why didn't the zergie just expand over the entire map and continue to mass hatcheries and troops until he had guards and / or cracklings, and then just macro the toss into oblivion? |

ah another toss player who does the X'ds~Grrrr... strat against zerg. early expo toss is also strong against in infantry based terran. or a teching toss. but u gotta setup cannons near peons to make sure no reavers are dropped.
Good BR, clean, but not enough details. i am an upgrade whore so i woulda liked to know how far the upgrades were.

This BR was not bad, but you left out details. Kak just walking up and razing the 12 doesn't sound that descriptive. Other than that well. You can do much better on this next time though.

Until you realize there are channels other than nohunters you will then realize that zerg > toss.
Zerg own toss, no matter how good. I was talking to pillars last night and even HE admitted it so, don't your hopes up too high.
If a toss early expands muta / ling expand 3-5x wins.
You see there's always a counter and toss will lose to zerg.
Especially at elite levels toss doesnt have a chance. I know that from personal experience.
Just try a little strat that might win a few but not vs the top players ;[. Play 1st~Tsunami PvZ see if you win.

Dr Zhivago ( he was getting 9's on his first post, generally an 8-9 guy now, I think he's goin for a 10 soon ;] )

I read mostly every report in this site, and I like your style. Very clean and destinctive writing. After a while of reading all of the really really creative reports, you get bored and you just want to know the facts (not poems like in some of the reports i read:))

Nice job with the report. I especially liked the color scheme you chose. You also did a good job conveying the action in your writing.
My only problem with the report was that you took a lot of the suspense away by making it clear that toss was going to win. You kinda made up for it with the little strat session at the end.
IMO, this is a solid 8, my only suggestion to you is to keep writing<i>!!</i>

Z>P is common knowledge. The zerg have the advantage early on. But to say that Zerg owns Toss is a bit extreme. A lot of top players like Grrr.. and Pillars win some of their PvZ match ups and they were not playing newb zerg players. Ownage implies 10 wins out of 10 games. And IMHO, there is no matchup which can give 10 wins out of 10 games.
And I think at newbie level, zerg don't own as well. Especially those zerg newbies who have 1 hatchery the whole game vs the toss/terran newbie who builds 1 each of all the tech buildings. But pointless to argue that.
BTW, don't bother 'challenging' me to prove your point. I'll lose to any of you guys... easily... :(...
