Not bad. I was expecting you to bust into an actual game, but oh well. Do more of this, but include an interesting game. The random pubbie chatter makes for a good intro. Good non-BR, as non-BRs go. The "collage" of disconnectors was interesting and your writing is pretty good.
Most everybody knows that public games are a swamp so a series of reports which have as their theme confirming that public games are a swamp of crazies, jerks, and disconnectors probably won't spark much interest. Something like "public game partners", and actual 2v2 or 3v3 BRs might work as a series with some creativity. |

If you want to make this a series, I think you could pull it off. Just throw in some of the funny pubie chat, then br the game you play with them to demostrate there "SKILLS". One or two reports like that would be rather amusing, just dont do too many, you will get labled as a newbie basher.

Just in case you guys forgot you were once these so called "public pubies". i play public games all the damn time and for the most part i have fun. only a few fools tend to piss me off and even then all i have to do is leave the damn game or the room.
I did like this though. it showed that there are some assholes out there that make the on line experiance suck.

Skullbattalion: many people enjoy public games, but the point I was trying to make was that these guys suck bad compared to me :P Well not really but public skill level<nh sill level. And I got 7 disconnect pics from about 30 games.. hrmm..
Bob: i understand if you dont think this was a great report, but a 3? i compared to some of the other 3's out there and i donno it just doesnt seem to be THAT bad. only thing i can think of was you were trying to counterbalence the 7, mebe im wrong but i thought raters were supposed to rate what they thought it deserves, not try to get the overall score at what they think it shud be.... anyhow, if you DO think it deserved a 3, what should i change?

been playin for about 2 years now, and if none of my friends are on I end up playing pubbies :(
and I have to say I run into the same shit ALL THE TIME.. It is a real pisser when you are trying to become a better player to end up playing these types of games.. My point being I enjoyed the report! Really wanted to read how one of the games went, like most, but I knew where it was comin from :| and I would definatly read a series of these :) |

Pubbie games are annoying for several reasons:
1) They can't handle being told that it's not TvB.
2) Many Disconnect.
3) Incredibly varied skill levels. Sometimes you can trouned pubbies 4v1, and other times they are actually a challenge.
4) Forget playing a game with anything other than BGH, hunters, temple, or Zlot madness.
However, I find that when I dont wanna have to deal with people and game passwords and teams and all that crap, pubbie games are fun. Take them for what they are.

Well, it sucks that you got a 5.3, but at least you got plenty of comments. I basically gave up on reporting due to complete lack of comment-based feedback. f*ck ratings, listen to the people! :) You seem to be a pretty sharp guy, so get some sharp graphics tools/skillz this summer and take screenshots of all games. If the games suck, toss the shots. But if the games rock, use them to recall the series of events and write up a bitchin report. It takes a couple to get the hang of it, so keep it up and remember to experiment! Only then a true jedi will you be...
