I'd give it a ten, however, if it weren't a new idea, this was slightly sloppy dref. Looks like you put this together late last night. The lay-out of the pictures is slighly sloppy, and i can't see everything with the super-extra-wide text without having to scroll right or left. Some of the aqua mini-titles also go into the pictures. Also kinda got confusing that Krone suddenly sprung into action when a few paragraphs ago, you said he was damaged by a drop on his isle as well as irradiation on his drones. An 8.5 BR, a 10+ idea.

Good BR, Awesome contest idea. However, I'm goign to have to agree with BW-sux. I'm not a big fan of the colour, although it is easy to read and all that. The colours for orange and brown got a little annoying because they are very similar too, but thats not a big deal, its not hard to follow the game. The images are crisp, relevant, and full of action, albeit not as good as nobody's. But, all my petty concerns are put to rest by great writing, and an innovative idea.

First of all, a moment of uproarious laughter at Phillip. I share POA's mirth at the fact that Phillip observed the game and was not able to score a 20. You are definitely kicked out of the contest dude... :(
Next, to Chinks. I spent about 6 hours putting this together last Thursday. I think it looks great with default browser settings and that's what I was going for. I'm not going to check every browser setting to make sure every thing lines up perfectly on every setting. Besides, the focus on my BRs has always been on the writing, not on the pictures (even though there are a lot of pics in this br).
Finally, I will agree with Cynical on the color scheme. The background limitted my choice on the colors for the player names. I couldn't go darker because it would blend into the background. I suppose I could have changed the background color but I didn't really feel like it. Perhaps next time I'll stick with the standard black or white background.

Dref, I scored so badly because I only knew who won and I wasn't sure about bob's and sync's scores, I never checked and bob got hammered pretty early. Anyway, you do realise that I could have just said nothing and started this competition up the top? I actually did the RIGHT thing by owning up. On the other hand, I hate those teachers who give all the bad kids good stuff when they do something good for a change. So in conclusion, I deserve to be mocked so bring it forth. A few things.. great report, but the background is kinda....girly. Sorry, it's the same color as the walls in my cousin's nSync-infested bedroom.
Also, it seemed a bit wide. My resolution is 1152/864, and the area took up nearly half the screen, after i set text to smallest. Maybe it's just me.

A lot of people seem to be commenting that the idea was great, but the report was lacking. I don't agree, I thought that the report would deserve a very high mark in itself and the competition is merely the thick icing on the delicious cake =)

I really liked it but I think it's important to get more entries next time, perhaps if you made a simple popup which asked people's votes and their names it would be easier to process (perhaps you could ask probe, he seems to be the popup king). The only problem would be multiple entries although you could send a confirmation code to an e-mail address. Actually, thinking about it, it seems somewhat of an insuperable task and so perhaps simple is the way to go. =) |

Some things not included cause he didn't include them:(^^) I had an irradiated temp on bob's cliff that in desparation stormed a nearby mining scv and killed 24 that were all on one patch (who wouldn't be made fun of in `templar heaven`)
I ended up taking my natural and island back ^^
And I don't think krone said "fuck u" to me, it was to the wraiths. But he might as well said it to me -_-.
Hmm, I lost 5 nexus' that game. I prolly wouldadone better score-wise if I hadn't let Krone take my mineral only, but I felt that he could do better there at that point in the game. Wish ya woulda got a few more quotes in there, including bob's as his main went down, "you guys make have won the game but we won in the cool shit department" Heh, anyway, gg all. BTW, krone and I didn't get along at all before this game, well, we haven't spoken since the game but still, just to say that we hadn't played together in a 2v2 before (we did play in some gay UMS' with apex where i kept killing krone for fun) Look forward to some all tex `other` reports from me under the name Efficiency. I'll prolly think of more things to say later, but for now:

I remember you screaming joyously about your irradiated templar but I didn't have a screen shot because I was too busy getting screenshots of Krone destroying Bold's main and it didn't really affect the game. I guess it did make up for your "1 marine" storm. hehe...
Anyway, it was a much better game than I anticipated when I joined and you guys get mad props for playing so well.

Great battle, and really well narrated. The contest is a nice innovative side-note, fun for the whole community, etc, but the report stands tall on its own. Maybe the best thing about the contest is that it'll make Drefsab give us a report a week for the next 2 months.
Only two requests:
1. More quotations from the Book of Revelation in the picture captions (nice touch; funny in that classy, esoteric MST3K sort of way).
