Actually some 1200 player finally gave me some basic builds, demonstrated them so I could understand exactly what "13/17 pylon" actually means, and removed my head from its intimate contact with my ass.
He must have experienced some terrible abuse there as a young executor cuz he likes to burn those puppies down like they were Catholic foster homes run by Father Alfonzo the pederast and Sister Grizelda the sadist.
There's his shuttle and as my probes start to flee out flies a reaver, gracefully turning a somersault and a half-gainer as it descends onto the field!
you know those 3 quotes have got to make it to the top :)

He was a good player but was a little bit lacking in recon/troop building/organizing. Also, he's like me, loves gaying around but never really puts any "umph" into his game.

Excellent! You DEFINITELY have the potential to be a top writer! Your jokes were very, very good. The key to all an all-text br is to write descriptively. Your descriptions of the battles were VERY nice. Almost didn't need pics!
Here's how to get a 9 or better:
1)You have the writing down, it's GREAT!
2)Get pics, make them fancy! =) (Drop shadows are a great effect!)
3)Just make sure to find a good game.

Great all-text BR. I do not feel that pics are an essential to getting a high raiting! I would have easily given this an 8! The report was well written, well thought out, and extremely funny. You went a bit heavy on the vibrator jokes, yes, but it was not an overload. A few more and they would have started to get old, though.
I loved the imagery in your descriptions, and they made the BR extremely funny and enjoyable to read. Keep up the good work!

Good BR doesn't come from fancy pic or decorations, it comes from good game. The game was so close and fun and your report captured it well hahaha. BTW, your game tends to come so close for no apparent reason. Why is that? No sound is it?
(I remember you vs my friend where both players lost nexus, mining ability and only troops.. your game is so funny)

Ever since our former president, George Bush, said of Saddam Hussein and his army, "We're going to kick their asses!" In prelude to the Gulf War, ass has been an acceptable term finding its way into prime-time TV and otherwise invading the popular culture. Other than that and a few "hells", and "damns," this report is free of cussing. However, I appreciate that there are those of us who continue to reserve the right to be offended by the use of even these forms of "acceptable" cussing and I respect that and I'm sorry it made you blink.
In the forum of the BattleReport, however, I don't think my jokes and descriptions were inappropriate and I'm afraid my natural style for writing such things is not going to please everybody. Still, I hope you won't turn away from reading one of my reports in the future which may have humor that is off-color but certainly will never be irretrievably vulgar. In response to that comment #27, the reply about the profanity thing, I will put my two cents in tonight, and then call it a night.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this report, and the vibrator jokes were pretty funny. I would like to see the other units described as colorfully- that bit about goons moving like crippled old ladies in wheelchairs, for example. I do NOT buy into the "politically correct" scene, personally, I find being PC UNCONSTITUTIONAL. More on that upon request.
Those probes' mining sounds DO sound like vibrators, albeit the kind you find in dentists' offices across the country, and YES, you CAN use a dentist's drill for - um - OTHER purposes.
On my nightly serious note, I want to thank SlayAngel for being mature enough, and polite enough, to apologize for his use of profanity, and in the same breath defend his freedom of speech with candor and tact. Well well, I've FINALLY run into the author of this report first-hand, and had the privilege and honor of playing a match with him. We lost connection late in the game, him playing Protoss and me my usual Terran, and Slayangel being the pro he is, promptly chased me around the mapboard Medusa...
I'd tried, folks, really I did, and I didn't win, Angel got a disconnect. We hooked up afterwards in the chatroom for a bit of strategy talk and all that, and the Connection Monster reared its ugly head time and again, and lo, I didn't get to thank Slayangel for the spanking he'd handed me. Perhaps some other time, my friend.
Until then, I hope you've got speakers, and a better connection next time. I would enjoy a full game, to at least know that you won and did it the old-fashioned way, by wiping me out to the last supply depot, the last lone Marine, bloody and bruised as he feels the last rush of the StimPak before charging headlong into the three dozen Goons razing the Marine's barracks...
