Not bad for a first report. The graphic seemed to be well planned, as did the text. You definitely have a lot of potential. The only real complaint is that you just went on to a BGH game and kicked butt. No bizarre strategies, no real funny stuff. In battlereporting, if you're going to do BGH, make it more humorous. I think your reporting style would be better suited for serious, or at least non-bgh, matches.

| Good stuff. This was less of a beatdown that BGH backstabs that I've done, in that they actually managed to fight back. ;-) I'd have liked to see more mass nuking and BCs and stuff of that nature (my last good backstab, I finished off three or four people with nothing but nukes, essentially), but it was still excellent. I give it a 7.9. |

It's too bad I had to rush this, I had like 3 more good minimaps I coulda put in, not to mention it was really low on humor (no one liked the space ghost banner and pics?). But anyway, glad to see you guys enjoyed it and hopefully it will settle this thing between :+:BGH:+: and NHers, as I'm not even that good compared to other NHers but I could still take out 5 BGHers... This was the only interesting game I've had in a while, hopefully I'll see some good serious games sometime.
Before this BR, I knew nothing about html, this was the best I could of hoped for. What did you guys think of the collages and text description?

| Anyone that plays in a 7v1 compstomp with any intent other than backstabbing DESERVES to be humiliated. If you want to play comps, you can do it 1on1 without the benefit of battle.net, and it'll take about a week to get good at this even if you've never played SC before. People who play 7v1 compstomps will never learn anything. Unless they are backstabbed, in which case they might figure "wow, if I had skills like that, I'd be less lame," and play a few games against PEOPLE to practice a bit. Joining 6 other people in beating a stupid AI is just a waste of bandwidth. And I think that no matter what, if it's 1 vs 5, if the 1 wins, he deserves it. ;-) |

As my profile states, I'm NEW to this stuff, at least all of the pics and nerdy geek type stuff. What I'm interested in is the how-to of all of this. By the way, this is the first time I've seen this site, and well, I'm impressed with it, and I'll add it to my repertoire of sites to glean for more education.
Much as I'd like to, I won't go too postal on you about the morals of backstabbing- I think it shall suffice for me to say that it is NOT a practice I would get into. It's an honor thing for me, if such a thing as honor exists on Battle.net... =) I DID enjoy the educational and tactical side of the report despite the "immoral" tactic of the back stab.
NUFF on that. Ok! The fun stuff will be reading any comments that come back to me about how dumb-assed my comment was.
Here's one that'll surely date me, and yes, you will all come to know me as long-winded and half-assed witted: Once upon a time, I played the BOARD version of Axis&Allies. I played Germany with a passion, being I'm German and all that, well anyway, my college buddies repeatedly pounded me into the dirt time and again until finally, one rainy day, I found out how to defeat them and actually win...
What I'm getting at, SOONER OR LATER, is that what you'd said in your commentaries somewhere in there, about playing HUMANS, is right on the money. Beating AI is one thing, but to truly learn anything at all, go challenge a human. And don't be so damned worried about getting your ass handed to you on a platter by some ten-year-old kid who has no other life (YET!) except playing Zerg extremely well... Those damned lil' Korean kids... Gotta love 'em! Getting your ass handed to you does something: teaches you what DOESN'T work... IF you're mature enough to realize that you're learning, instead of getting your ass kicked by a ten-year-old...
