| I've been in nohunters for 7 months or so and there have always been lamers and there have always been people claiming it was better six months ago. I haven't noticed much of a change. It is a typical phenomenon in social groups; looking back through rose colored glasses I believe its called. I don't mind the occasional novice. (I think its good that they are trying to get better) As long as people aren't spamming the channel or making others feel unwelcome I think they should be welcome in nh. Its still better than X17 in my opinion. |

Once again I feel the call of the devil's Advocate upon me...
The terran finished the game with a decent score with respect to Mog's.
Of course Mog is a way better player than he is but everyone
has different level of skill.
I remember a time when going to NH meant that you were going
to be respected as a good player but also helped out if you weren't.
So Mog won a 2v1 vs people who were less skilled, Big deal...
Instead of complaining about newbies in NH you guys should be

I must be the only one who didn't think this report was all that great (which will earn me a big FUCK YOU BITCH from Sp|ne, I'm sure). I mean, come on. I agree with Praetor, it was worth about a 7. The effort was there, and a lot fo the screenshots were good, but the ingame comments consisted mainly of Sp|ne trying to act cool and calling people bitches. Oh, that and telling us what he missed in screenshots because he was lazy or what he's too lazy to relate in the BR. I'm not saying the graphics weren't done well or anything was technically wrong with it at all. I guess it just wasn't my sense of humor. And since a great deal of the report was contingent upon its humor, that would more or less ruin it for someone. Which means that I can see why some people would want to give it a ten. But personally, I didn't think it was all that funny.
And as far as criticism, hell, critics can NEVER d what they criticise =P. Film critics, literary critics, what ahve you...that doesn't mean they can't seperate the wheat from the chaff (although they often can't). I could point out a number of reports I personally found enjoyable enough to warrant tens on this site, but since it comes down to personal preference, it becomes something of a moot point.
And don't pull that, Sp|ne. You brag about being lazy in the BR then here challenge someone to do a beter job. The whole laziness thing is a front (or an attempt at humor) since you obviously spent a good deal of time work on the graphics and layout. It just didn't appeal to me, that's all I was saying. Not so much a comment on the quality, I guess, as it is on the style. Which means keep doing what you're doing, since most of your audience appears to appreciate it.

IMHO, this report is 8.5-9 material. Its nice, but not quite enough for 10. I think Sp|ne has done much better. I think .Praetor has a right to rate this a 3 if he feels it deserves it. As far as I know, the raters are supposed to represent a cross-section of readers. Most of the raters thought it ruled (as I do) but it could be quite offensive to some. Oh well. I'll stop now.

I believe that this report deserves a 6 for one reason: the fact that it contains the word "gosu". Spine is obviously greek, yet he uses a korean word. I find the use of the word "gosu" rather than it's english equivalent, "master", quite ignorant. It is sad that a greek like spine would want to be korean.

Yikes... I'm bad, but I'm not THAT bad. There is something in the game that I understand, and those players obviously did not... it's called ADAPTING TACTICS. If he's slaughtering your lings with Carriers, then just DON'T GET ANYMORE LINGS! If he's crushing your armies with Storm, then do anything... Irradiate, Wraith quick-strike missions, etc. to get rid of his Templar before they storm you. Or at least don't do the same thing over and over and over again.
