Hmm, this is the reason why I say people tend to overdue the power of pictures. Apperently, he tried to have his images explain the game and limited the text. The outcome was a report that was just lacking and. Also, doing this, no matter how much effort was realy put in there, makes the thing look half cared about. Actualy, the beginning looks half cared for and the ending half looks not cared for at all (you didn't even mention the mutas!).
Take this report, and look at it w/o the pics, and see what you get. In a great report, you still have a very great story going, and perhaps only a few question marks that can be ignored. Even in the case of Jamellan, you have a pretty decent report without those pics (though his trademark has become those pictures, which can survive all on their own).
Try putting more into the text part of the story; just pretend you aren't putting pics in it and try to make us feel like we were there.
Oh, speaking about the pics: I don't know how, but they worked for me. I'm just odd I guess :P

Wow, this was a really bad game to report. Blue cannoned himself in and had three goons while red and green had time to attack yellow twice? hmmm, I guess my question is, how did red and green manage to lose. They must suck :-)
Anyhoo, the lack of detail in the report was not helped by the funk-a-delic pictures. I guess my suggestions are:
1) Pick a better game to report.
2) Give us more details.
3) Get a different photo editor.
Keep trying though, you have the right idea.
