Dr. Zhivago that was a truly impressive battle report. It had just about everything but the kitchen sink. I really love the way you presented it, fun and interesting with just enough humor to not go overboard. Looks like it was a fun game to watch, as both players went tooth and nail. I say this game deserves an 8.5. Great work and I enjoy seeing more BR's from you.
To my Protoss brother, don't worry the Kali still survives and next time you will smoke his ass good...

one of the better first reports ive seen in a while ... nice job, but you could use a few pointers
-minor, but way at the top, there's a pretty big space.
-circular images are nice, but in general squares are a little more pleasing to the eyes
-the table was too wide - make the width 500 next time, that will make it look much nicer
-try to get a higher res on your pics, and minimize them as much as possible
other than that, nice job.

Excellent report. The writing was great and you had some pretty good screenshots in there too. Nukes are always fun and its too bad that the terran had to go and lose.
I really don't have that many complaints on this one. As far as the circular images, I could take 'em or leave... doesn't really matter to me. The colors chosen were great and all battles were laid out in succint paragraphs.
Great job and keep 'em coming...

gsWell 'm extremely dissapointed that only one person rated ths br. i thought dr.z did an exceptional job with the br, but only one person rated it. Now, why is this? The answer is that you raters are all too busy to rate anything by anybody you don't know. That's why Mark4, YRM, Heartcutter, and all the other famous people continually get 4-5 ratings for their brs, even if they aren't that good (although they almost always deserve great ratings). don't want to seem like i'm bitching or anything, i just think it's sad that only certain people are bound to get a large number of ratings. i don't know what can be done about it, except urge the raters to be more active in the rating process. i mean, aren't there 10 or more raters?? Maybe i'm wrong, but it seems to me that there should be enough raters such that a report that receives a 9 from the first rater ends up receiving at least 3 or 4 total ratings. But i think there's nothing that can be done about the situation. it's like the raters get tenure; once they become raters, they no longer care about rating people they don't know. Hell, bet the only rater to click on this report was Drefsab. So screw the rest of you. Bah. i don't mean to sound mean, but i'm a little drunk and i don't think any of you will listen to this anyway. ideally, it would inspire you to at least check out more brs. but oh well, now i'm just ranting.
oh ya, my keyboard is fucked up, so if for some strange reason i'm missing an "i" somewhere in the sentence, that's why.

How are raters going to know about this report now that it is no longer one of the latest ten reports? So far, since it has been removed (granted only two days), only the same people have come to make comments on it.
And this is certainly not the first time this has happened. it's just that now, i feel strongly enough about the issue to say something.

Most raters (or at least me) go directly to the viewreports=all page. In fact, I rarely even go to the front page of battlereports.com. Maybe one every two weeks to check the ratings. There, it lists the last 25 reports.
Even still, it's rare to get more than two ratings. I'd say almost half of all reports get only one. |

Although I am not that well known yet, I think it is fairly obvious that comment #27 was not me.
Not saying I would never write anything like that, but I don't know .Praetor, and ratings are cool, but we are not talking life or death here, it is only a game!
