Considering the situation you were in, you played quite well. Still, your mistake was not forcing the scouting. When you had 6-8 lings, you should have tried to force your way up his ramp...then you wouldn't have been so surprised.
As for the lurker/scourge thing...yah, it's a b*tch, but if you go lings/hydras and research OL speed, its not a problem. Actually, now that I think about it, a fast expand into pure hydras would pretty much shut him down. Then you could start a Spire of your own, be up on minerals/gas, and use a hydra/muta push: mutas+ol's beat down Lurkers, then, when the scourges show up, just retreat to a nearby group of hydras. |

You're right, he had you contained, he should have thrown up about 4 expansions and then just started throwing troops at you until you said uncle... Oh well, good job reporting a good game.

| From what it sounds like, you played a good game....congrats on the vic....zerg vs zerg is easy if you go hydras early and often. |

Scourge raids on OL's can actually rock even without the Lurker angle... taking down themn farms and halting production can be quite devastating sometimes. Just thought I'd mention it :) (also, it is irritating as HELL for the opponent, more or less qualifying it as psychological warfare, LOL)
