| I don't know what ducky is talking about. I thought it was really good. It was a really nice change of pace from all the starcraft brs. It almost made me go hunt for my civ 2 cd. Too bad those games last a day and a half. Please find more rts' and tbs' games to br. I don't give reports numbers but if this gets a 6... well it certainly deserves more. |

I want to know the changes in Test of Time, it seems to me they dumbed down the AI and cheat advantages given to the computer players. And about this multiplayer thing =) can it be done of the net, punk? |

Sorry 'bout the joke. My sense of humour is rather obscene at best. Should have known better. =/ I'll refrain in future reports. Promise.
The multiplayer can be done over the net, and there are also network and 'hotseat' (same comp) options.
They could have changed the AI and the AI advantages, but I couldn't actually tell... in truth, I don't think they did, because I had around 50 cities (or something... I can't count anyway) and the Aztecs had around 10, but they were matching me in tech... until I switched to Democracy, that is. Then, I had 1 turn research on 50% science =D.
In closing, sorry about the joke. Yeah, I like repeating myself. |

| I don't think the report should be rated down because of a lame "joke". It wasnt't even noticable you had to go out of your way to read it and even farther out of your way to finish it. I stopped around the time the gay guy entered the funeral parlor or wherever. |

I missed this report in the shuffle and craziness of the last few weeks, but I came back after seeing all the contraversy in the Forum.
I guess if I was in a situation where I was gay, or had a friend who was, and they knew someone who died, this joke would probably sicken me. I didn't really think it was funny, but I didn't really think it was much worse than other reports which overuse the word "rape" to describe a winning battle, or whatever...
I guess it depends on what you believe and what offends you.
Homophobics really got what they were asking for when they classified an activity/lifestyle as an actual person and it's come back to be accepted as a universal truth by the politically correct community. Ironic... poetic justice? I dunno.
I don't know if a tasteless joke makes this report deserving of a 4, and I don't know if a 4 makes Warphead right for giving up entirely... I don't know much of anything I guess.
I do know that probably no one will come back and read this comment. |
