Yes, I know the pix suck. Yes, I know the writing is horrible. Yes, I know you could do better with your eyes closed. Etc. Fractal is feeling bitter this evening. Please Pardon him.

Nice BR Fractal. No pics and all, and it still rocked.
It'll be interesting to see what this gets rated. Hmmm, I say 8, but what does my vote mean? Well, it means that this sounded like an excellent game, with just a bit too much crack on the brain during the write-up. Nice job!

Nicely written BR. Sounded like an unreal battle.
Carriers aren't gay, it's the Corsairs, and Gayweb.

VERY nice Fractal. You're so funny and creative--i swear you pull some of these jokes right out of your *ahem*. But they crack me up. Even without pics I'd give it a 9.
That musta been one helluva game...wish I could've been watching. Does your glorious victory make you feel all warm and tingly? = )
Oh yea...about your question of which comes 1st after Hive (Guards, Ultras, Cracklings, or Defilers)...it depends on the map/circumstances (duh). IMHO Defilers come first for this game because you were all ground. Guardians maybe if you could harass the enemy behind the safety of a cliff. Ultras are a joke on Temple because they'd get torn up going up the small ramps. Cracklings are fun when you have enough minerals to pump them out of 12 Hatcheries and set the rally point in the enemy's base = ) wuhahaha. macromania!

P.S. Good job on all the cool quotes you found. |

Great stuff, great stuff! (Look at this, we're forming a mutual admiration society...) Oh, and naturally I enjoyed your Vonnegut reference. Which reminds me: please don't watch the movie version of Mother Night, starring Nick Nolte. It's a flat and uninspiring adaption of a very powerful novel.

| Very Nice all text report. No need for pics, we've seen them before. We know what 3 carriers on the natural's cliff look like, etc. etc. |

| I've always been a fan of text based reports. Maybe that's because I'm too incompetent picture-wise and my single report has no pictures :>. Honestly, I think this is one of your better reports, Frac - it kept the focus really well. Musta been an Edge-of-the-seat game. |

Good game and great report Fractal. It's nice when people spend the time spicing up the action and text rather then reaching into the pixel bag. Without pics that report rocked... Just say no to excessive pictures.

IIt looks like your zerg got a lot better since u played with me. Hope I play again with you sometime.
After hive I would probablly have gotten gaurds in that game cause the air was all on your side. M+M<Gaurdians. I once lost about 150 M+M to cradcks under swarm and gaurds. Hoo hum. I did have 3/3. Ohh well.<font color="purple">Carriers=Gay</font> |

Hehe, before I made this image I had made one comment, now I'm commenting on everything I read :) Well, I must say that a good text based report is a rarity these days. What am I saying, I first came to BR.com after YRM's round one of the FFA thing. I don't know anything but these days ;) Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that having a good report that doesn't have pictures makes those of us who are graphicly inept feel much better. If only I could observe a good game, I'd write up a report, probably text only too... I did understand your thing about almost micro. The most micro I ever have is a hotkeyed group of 12 :) And my most macro is 10 of those groups, because you only have hotkeys for that many. But I'm rabling now. I only wish Text only reports could get high nines still, this would be one...

Great report, I am assuming the Slaughter House 6:00 reference is to the story/book (can't remember which) called Slaughter House Five by Ernest Hemmingway(?) were he was captured in world war two and kept in a slaughter house as prisoner. =) I am educated. I think. Hehe.
Again Great Report =)
][erranloser (aka KitNorja the guy you played on Dark Temple and whooped me with zerg vs toss, but storm is gay =) |

| Heh, guess I wasn't as educated as I thought I was it is Kurt Vonnegut that was captured, eh, Vonnegut, Hemmingway, they are all the same to me =) |

Big ups to <b> ][erranloser</b> and <b> Rumplstiltskin</b> for getting the Slaughter House 6:00 pun. I maintain that 'Welcome to the Monkey House' is the best Vonnegut book out there...but I digress.
To Khorne and Mac: The more i think about it, the more I think guards would have been a better choice than defilers. The main reason I didn't was 'cause I never got a spire...Guards over the cliff w/ carrier support would have OWNED the 3:00 natural...
Snow owns me. Not only does he kick my sorry @ss at StarCraft, he thinks up a better byline. What a punk.
:)
All the best,

you can even make a quote up. it could be <i>"i sux"- JoLLy~TeAcuP</i> heh. seems like you played an astounding game there. I wish i had an Overdrive button 8'(

Awesome, Fractal. In that game, you hit THE ZONE. Once or twice in my history of StarCraft playing, I too have hit THE ZONE. Where everything becomes a blur, and you make victory, you don't play a game. My reports have all been the shrewd calculating-type, except my Day of the Golaith, which was the closest I got to THE ZONE in a battle report.
I remember distinctively looking down at my hand moving the mouse and thinking. Goodness, that's been continous motion for a few minutes now. |

And then, .Praetor, are the days where you hit THE ZONE. Where everything becomes a blur.. so you can't do a thing right because.. well.. everything is a blur!
Ask Bob_the_Newt.. who played 2 games with me last night and we split them. They quite possibly might have been the worst pair of games in HISTORY.
I'd just be happy to get back to normal, let alone THE ZONE. But when it does happen, is it ever sweet... |
