I use scouts because I read Zileas's strats and he shows how to use them effectively. They are better than carriers because they are faster. the trick is not to let them die so I had a shield battery on the island as a refueling point. Hit and runs are the way to go with them.
I understand that this BR can't really score that high by the simple fact that the game wasn't all that exciting. I only won due to the fact that he didn't know how to expand properly. I know I can structure a report ok, and I am getting to know graphics and HTML, now all I need his a kick-ass game to report.

Urgh, scouts :-) ? Someone tested that at 0/0 levels, 4 corsairs will take out 4 scouts (compare resources :-b ).
Yes, having one or two cannons at your choke is a big help. I can't believe he went mass zealots in the beginning. I bet with proper goon management, you could have taken him out right there. Or if instead of attacking his peon line you had just sent your goons to his front door and dropped reavers as support, what do you think your chances would have been? One interesting thing I've seen in PvP games is this: Attack front-door up his ramp with goons, then drop reavers on top of the ramp to split his forces. For example, at 6 o'clock, you'd drop the reavers at the far north side of his base. Or drop them in his mineral line at the same time, etc. Sometimes they don't even notice the reaver drop in their peon line and lose all their peons while they're focusing on the attack at their choke :-b. Nasty nasty... |

| BTW: Sorry, comment whore == me. If you see observors following your shuttle, just drop off your probe while your shuttle is in flight over an expansion (e.g. click on your probe in the units profile of your shuttle). The shuttle will unload without slowing down; and if your opponent doesn't notice right there, you can start your expansion. You can then drop off another probe at a faraway site and maybe build a pylon as distraction so he thinks you're expanding there instead. Anyway, he should be patrolling his observors between expansions, but just in case he doesn't... |

You should know, that all my clan adventures happen in vanilla SC. Also, even if sairs>scouts, they can't attack ground, which would have been a lack in this game. Like you shuttle trick, I should have know he couldn't be watching me all the time... |
