| Sometimes I wonder just how many people lurk around waiting to make the first comment on a report. :P Oh well I'd write more, but I have to go click the banner and make Johnny V a happy man. :) |

I liked this report. I'm really liking the new-school of reports. High quality, with focus on strategy and tactics, and little or no battle shots. Not that graphics aren't nice, but I feel that a lot of the reporters write the story around the graphics and not the other way around. This report, like ADQ3's, make me stop, think, and want to apply what I learned in my next game.
Thanks for the read. |

| Hehe.. back a few months ago when I made about.. oh 5 or 6 reports in a 2 week period, people asked me why I dont have battle shots. Part of the reason is it breaks my concentration to keep making battle shots.. or rather, I forget to take shots because I'm concentrating on the game. The other part is I really prefer telling a story via words. Whoever said a picture is worth a 1000 words was wrong, because a picture doesn't mean much.. it can add to a report, but it can never stand alone. A well written report can stand alone, and the reader can see exactly what's going on. Probably why I prefer reading books rather than watching TV. :P I agree btw, I love ADQ3's reports.. extremely well written and I can see exactly what he's doing. |

"A picture is worth a thousand words"
Which is basically 3 somewhat lengthy paragraphs. =)
Those thousand words aren't necessarily the best, however. Most of them are comments (like those slew of comments following a 1.0 or so rated battle report).
So, I'd rather have the words of a good battle report (like this one) then a picture (YRM reports have lots of words too, ya know!)

| The pen is mightier than the sword (but not mightier than the arclite siege cannon). Keep up the well worded reports. |

Nice report =)
A few battle shots of the decisive action usually helps, but aren't all that necessary... |

moo. i still like your reports snowy.
Pssstttt, more then YRM. Shh.
This is actually pretty stupid to do early on, but if you're playing against a friend its hella funny.
Just offensive bunker him in, and if you see his zealots coming in ahead of time put up around 5 half completed supply depots around the bunker =P
sure, you gotta have a buttload of cash hanging around, and sure you're going to eventually cancel them costing ya 25 minerals apiece, but ho ho ho, i just imagine the look on his face.
Lem <===whose games are now more idiotic then strategic. |

"Good. I have his attention there. "
Soon as i read this line, I knew that the old SnowSquall was back, ripping it up at SC and BRing again. I wish I could write such drop-dead wonderful understatement.
Good to hear from you again my friend.
All the best,
