Well, it was a pretty good report, and you make some nice pictures. Thing is, the pictures aren't all that action intensive, and there are too many of them. The thing about pictures, is that they interrupt the text. I'm reading along, enjoying nice, crisp writing, and boom, I'm told to examine a picture. Yeah, there's some tech and all, but now the story has lost continuity.
Anyway, that's my take on it. Johnny, get the rating system up, please. |

| I dunno it was a good report and the action was easily followed. It was good to see that BiK lost :) I think you should report some 1v1 games as IMO those are more stimulating. |

I suspected it before but now it's confirmed. Someone who is rating these has his head up his ass. This report was 10 times better than mine which also got a 7. Maybe it was tad dry but overall an effort deserving of more.
Either be consistent with the ratings, or backdate all the crappy 7.0's like mine if THIS is going to be the new 7.0 standard. |

Yeah, this sux. I give up man. I don't understand. Perhaps content is 90% of a report, and graphics is just 10%? I mean, Christ ... why don't you guys set some standards. So perhaps I could try to do SOMETHING about this stupid rating. Why not have an running average on the report? I'm trying DAMN hard and i get an equivalent of a <B>C</B>. That's encouraging really! Or perhaps it has to do with my frigging english. Sorry if my ENGLISH ISN'T PERFECT!! Have pity on a non frigging native will u? Grrrr ... This does it. Thanks a ton, you damn raters, for indirectly dissuading me from wasting some of my precious time into working on these blasted reports. At least I got some experience using Photoshop and Dreamweaver... And u raters, how about a word so the rest of us folks know what u guys want. I'm outta here. No more reports from me damn it.

| Ok... Some more personal preference I'm gonna toss out here. Haven't read the report yet, got a history test i need to study for in a few hours, but I did look at the pictures and offer my advice. Stick with a theme for the pics. Drop shadow through the whole thing, do border through the whole thing, or whatever, but rarely include the random assortment you have here. Just looks kinda not pretty. I really really liked the cleanliness of figures 1,3,6,8. (clap clap). And thanks for not using speech bubbles. I'll read it tonight.... damn... no... gotta code for cs due at 9 am tomorrow. I'll read it someday. |

Good report. The graphics addes to the report, which is a somewhat a rarity in non-YRM battle reports. The report was well written. Keep in mind, the 7 got you a gold bengalass. it's better than an average C.
I disagree with you about maynarding drones over to the expansion. Though he might balance out the gathering to both bases, it is a small benefit. Firstly, he only has like 10 drones in his main anyway. Second, while they travel they do no gathering. Third, the drones are at less risk of dying when they are at the main as opposed to the expansion.
The players in the report are somewhat mediocre.. if you got better players the game would have probably been rated higher.
All in all, a good report with good graphics on a decent game. |

I can promise you that the players here are way better than this game shows. For those who have played with or against me, these players are just as good as me, if not better. Just happened that BiK wasn't doing his best that day. It was a rematch so the report had to be written.

As a rater I will comment that the writing is a little dry. It is more of a documentary report blandly describing what happened rather than an interesting, exciting, makes you feel like you were there, emotional conflict.
I forgot if it was ADSQ or someone else's report a few days ago of his ladder battle where he almost gave up, but figured no dammit I'm going to fight to the last breathe of the last zealot. That was good writing and deserved a high rating. Plus a 7 is gold and is above average. |
