Interesting, but too dangerous for a good success rate. I think the 8-2 record is a fluke.

Yes the Lurker rush can be deadly if you don't know its coming ahead of time. If I see a lair, I immediately take precautions. Last ladder game I played on showdown, someone did the exact thing you described. I had a horde of M&M's kill 3 out of his 4 lurkers before they could burrow cause I met them in transit. The 4th one I blinded then killed with some spread out stimmed marines. Lurkers are easy to stop on that map, they can't run by you because of the quick death they will receive. And if they do I can easily blind them.
