| Yes, I agree. That is what I was trying to stress with the paperwork comments. It also depends on the area. The area my friend works is a high crime area. Sort of like, which bad guy do you arrest. For the most part we sat around waiting for paperwork, a wagon (to take the arrestee away), and other people. From what I understand, even though it is a high crome rate area, I still had an abnormally strange night. btw- It was also a Saturday.. |

I don't know if it be a good thing if people who are trying to be original by copying you start really stretching this theme into, "My night working at McDonalds: a battle for Money" or "The Fight I had in School" reports, but I enjoyed this.
Sounds like a job that I don't want to trade my cushy graphics job for. |

Cool, I was waiting to hear the details. I give the report an 7 for clarity and flow. I felt like I was in the SV, I mean SUV. I must also commend that strategy and deployment of units. Very efficient tactics results in minimal bloodshed and the protection of the innocent. It is not a typical BR that we are accustomed to on this sight, but I rate it anyway. (flame me if you don't like it) Besides Ice wrote it, that right there gets it an 7.

| Thundercracker, I agree with you, as do the majority of officers. Got to love the Darwin awards. It ended the best way it could, a) He didn't have a shoot out b) He didn't hurt anyone else (Wrecks and stuff), and he didn't force the cops into a suicide by police. The officers that were right there when it happened were a little shaken as it was. Not everyday someone blows their brains out when you're next to them. |

Good thing your friend didn't have to fire a shot that day. I understand there's a whole set of separate paperwork for EACH bullet discharged. Imagine the reports our little marines have to fill out when (and if) they get back to base! =)

Cool. I rather liked this.
The essence of this site is the "war story." Ever since the first time someone hauled off and wacked his buddy in the head because of the boneheaded move he made during the mastadon hunt, the best part has been telling the story around the campfire that night.
This site is trying to be the on line equivalent of that campfire. Reports of any type of "battles" are welcome as long as they are well written and entertaining. And this certainly fits that description. Thanks for a cool report Ice. |
