| I for one liked this guy's report. In all his reports so far he's gone into extreme detail on why he is doing what he is doing. With a build order to boot. Just by reading his reports I think I could emulate him and do decently with protoss. I thought the tactics he used to take out those 10 zealots were great (using probes.. positioning goons.. etc). This game was about cost effectiveness and timing. This guy sounds too good to be 1100, IMHO. |

This guys target audience is definitely people who get into precision tactics. I liked the part about the fight with the initial zealot rush.
Looking at the ladder game thing he is now 1173...Hopefully the games get a little less one sided once you hit 1250 or so. |

I know he posts alot... and normally, that would bother me, but I am learning alot from each report. For example, why order a fleeing scout to mine minerals? I'd guess that it might have better pathing when trying to get to minerals AND, it will return home when finished, after scouting yet another area... you just have to grab and reorder it to your own minerals on the way home. This could save a few scrolls and a mouse click at a critical building time.
The other thing about attack moving with probes to screw up a zealots AI is straight out of Zileas's guide to fighting off early zealot rushes. Next thing you know, AQD3 will be playing as Terran and doing SCV rushes while repairing the SCVs under fire...
When I write reports, I focus on more of the overview and mass tactics, etc... this guy focuses on how to use 4 units to kill 10 of equal value. I should come out of retirement and find ADQ3 so we can collaborate on a report after I finish the FFA series.
The other thing I like about AQD3 is that, while he's all "polite" on the surface, you can see alot of attitude coming through in some of the wording in the report and the subtitles. It makes it more interesting to me because I get the feeling that the politeness is sort of, "with a smirk"... subtle, yet very kick ass.
I like my daily AQD3 vitamins... keep em coming. |

I don't know what you're smoking, Blank.
This guy writes the best reports on this site. I learn something from each report, which is more important than flashy graphics and humor (to me at least).
Now if only this guy would write a story which Ducky or YRM would illustrate... I have a feeling YRM would do a great job of illustrating tight tactics. |

Banana, it's not that he doesn't write well, it's that the games he play don't look all that challenging. I mean, 10 zealots only took down 1 zealot and a dragoon out of 3 zealots and 2 goons (I think those numbers are right)? Come on. That's what I meant by the game not being all that interesting (it's like a few steps up from a newbie bash).
oh well, just how I feel=]

Great Report.
On the other hand, I know what Blank is talking about. He doesnt' play intriguing games. Then again, the tactics description is VERY intriguing. I feel better at BW when I read these BRs. Of course, that isn't the case. But I like the feeling;-) |

| Heh, fairly one sided, but this is the report I've learned the most from. Last. |
