| Ok, now everything looks ok. The old one had too many errors. Please delete it. Thanks. |

| Nicely laid out, unfortunately very difficult to report on. Might I suggest running in terror, insane, about every 45-60 minutes? It'll help your note taking, because everyone will slow down, because they're afraid of you. That's how I win ffa's! |

| I think this was pretty cool. I didn't understand all the mechanics of the game though, I didn't get why certain things happened. Maybe if you laid out all the unit powers and relative strengths at the start? You sort of did, but I didn't get a real feel for it. A few digital pictures would have really brought it home for me if you have access to that sort of thing. |

Well, the stats didn't come out right. If you go to the geocities site I listed it show it all off anyway. There is another stat: SAVE. This means that depending on how armored a unit is, the blow will glance off of the armor. Light armor gives you a 6+ save. If your unit is hit and wounded, rolling a 6 on a regular dice will mean that the unit has not been wouded and will continue playing. It takes a while to learn. And I'm still figuring it out.

Ducky: about going insane, when Super joe died, I lay on the floor twiching for a good 10 minutes, does that count? |

| Wait a sec, I got a 7.0 on my crappy ass poorly spelled one, and a 6.0 on my good one, the only alterations were on spelling, what gives? |

Yeah I was wondering about that myslef. I rather like paining, it's just that it's so damn expensive! I've spent pretty close to $200, and I've only played 4 games. But it is insanely fun, and we play house rules, making up our own as we go. It's always a fun and foul language filled day.
I think my moment was seeing Andy's Frog Wizard tip over and flattening an entire regiment of my Royal Guard. It was hilarious! I had to glue most of the Guard back to their stands and Andy had to glue Froggy's arm back on.
We laughed histerically for around a half-hour. I couldn't breath by the end of it... |

"joe took the opportunity and brought his sword down on the saurus's neck. The
swork
bounced off it's think scales"
LOL!!! There's one I missed, it's a spoon, fork, and sword, all in one! I better patent it fast... |

Monkey, Warhammer was my idea. TRD was just screwing with you. If anyone remembered i was spamming, telling every to
'read my message type=other' within the br.com chat room.
Anyway, warhammer Fantasy is just too cool. At my new school one of my friends plays it heavily so i joined him. I got totally annhilated due to the fact he had a Dark Elf Repeating Bolt Trower in a tower while my orgin cannon misfired the first turn. Oh well I am now Wood Elfves, due to the fact that archers and wardancers rule. Of course, who couldn't resist a treeman on your side?
Have you ever played Warhammer Quest? Amazing Dungeon Based RPG. The game is supposedly 50% off due to the fact that it is going out of production. You better Pick it up quick!
Blood Bowl (Football in the warhammer world) is also very cool.
About your report, you did a way better job at it then i possibly could. Maybe we can work together, No? E-mail me at bmurray1@home.com
Ow, my fingers hurt from intesive typing... |

| oops, organ cannon... |

I started with Brettonia, but they're just too goody goody, all noble and helpful. Skaven are insane. Their warpfire cannons explode and kill the crew more times than they correctly fire. Plus they're evil and self-centered. I'd take a Vermin Lord over a TreeMan any day.
As for working together, I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I was really suprised at a 7.0 (on the old one oddly enough...) since I'm not exactly, what you would call, urrmm..talented, yeah that's it. I suppose we switched stuff back and forth via e-mail it might just work. I don't play anything but WFB, but I've been looking into 40k. What army is the organ cannon for? Sounds destructive... |

The way I rememeber this game was it was all about the Elves. They were undercosted, moved faster than everyone else, 4WS/4BS and a big pain in the ass.
Me, I was an orc, through and through. And beware of orcish stonethrowers. And goblin fanatics.
Unfortunately, all the games consisted of:
1. I have a huge army, he has a not-so-huge army (But of FAR better caliber than mine).
2. He shoots at me all day with powerful bows and deadly accuracy. I eventually get in range to charge.
3. I charge.
4. He retreats.
5. My unit is 'un-formed'
6. His hero charges in and inflicts 1 wound. I inflict none (I only had basic 2 creatures fighting his hero)
7. Since I'm 'un-formed', my 4 ranks mean nothing. I can't continue the battle, and since I'm 'un-formed,' I'm pushed back, and my unit automatically breaks (15 orcs running because 1 died in combat).
8. My 16 orcs effectively died to a single wound.
That's when I gave this game up.
But I did have fun games, don't get me wrong. I just left because the rules sucked at the time. And I haven't gone back.
I take my aggressions out on starcraft instead.

| WOW! A comment from HC! I feel so blessed. In my first game, it was me (46 unit army) Andy (damn near 60) Justin (around 30), and Justin's bro, whose army consists of less than 20 units. And he owned the table. Bad. BTW this makes my comments 8/16 for this report, do I get some sort of award? |

Hey SuperGeneral, my e-mail is monkey84@twcny.rr.com, if you want to talk about collaborating on reports.
AND WHY THE HELL DID THIS ONLY GET A 6????? The old one got a 7! I want answers!

this makes comment #9 out of 17, I don't get into trouble for spamming my own report do I? |

Actually the whole WH thing is really screwed up. Games Workshop supports WFB and WH40K, but sold WFRP (I forgot to whom). The new developer can do whatever they want, so long as it doesn't conflict with WFB. That's pretty messed up. That would also explain perhaps why some WH-based products are going out of print.
Also, in the game I did play of WFB, all my 'stock' troops got killed, but the 'upgraded' ones fared better. Quality over quanity, no?
This is really obscure, and it is no knock on the report itself. I remember watching an episode of 'Red Dwarf' (courtesy of public television), and remember one of the characters literally giving a report of a Risk game. He was reading from a notepad with all the die rolls.
Anyways, I really did like the report, and it was a nice to see something a little different. |
