the first game reminds me of me vs such a lamer way back in vanilla days
I join a public game, and its this guy and the map is CHAIN LIGHTNING (basically a 6 player bloodbath)
I Zlot rush him while he tries to climb tech
Ok, he ask for rematch - he makes again, same map
I Zlot rush him again while he tries to climb tech
"You are so lame you have no skillz you suck" he says
Well - he chose the map, the map is clearly a rush map, and so I did... - neways, what am I supposed to do? Watch him teching while I built early 2 Gateways to stop any rushes? Just wait till he has his god-units, may it be Reavers or Carriers?
I played him later on LT and xplained to him that he outta play dire or at least temple if he hates rushes... |

I hate early rushes too, but its part of the game. No one should restrict anybody on his builds during a game. This ain't fun.
No early rush limits should be set only before the game and all participating players should agree. But scout still, i've played with a guy telling me no early rushes while he rushed me to death real early :(

I once dropped 8 firebats on a carrier-lamer's peon line only to have him tell me that I was a cheezy rusher!
We had agreed on no rushes and I always respect any condition I agree to. I assumed no rush means no early 2min ling rush, zeal rush or marine. He seemed to include in that any attack involving infantry units! I mean I had teched up to a starport and that was way back when i was a lame newbie using only one unit producing buildings...
Recently, I joined a game in which my opponent had chosen zerg but he asked me not to rush. Smelling a fish I scout early and find him building a pool with only 4 drones mining a sure sign of the ling rush.
I decided to test my speed against him, instead of going for forge then canons (which would have been the safe way to go) i went for two gates and zealots just for kicks. I lost this one but just barely. I give him a congratulatory "Good rush".
I wasn't frustrated because i was expecting it so losing was my own fault but how many others has he frustrated like this? |

"No rush" means something more along the lines of "don't attack, let me do the first attack with whatever I want, if you attack I'll call you a rusher"
Of course, people who say that usually suck shit.
And of course, I have ways of torturing players who suck shit... turtle them in, stop all expansions, and don't attack.. even when they ask for it! "Kill me!" "No, that would be rushing!" |

| Heh, be wary of records. I like making up new names and joining pubbies with players that have 300+ wins.. and the enemy team builds nice and lazy, figuring I suck (Which I do, but not Pubbie-suck). Anyone who asks for No Rush or No This needs a beatdown asap though.. it's part of the game. Kill or be killed. =P |

Reminds me of two of my games that I recently.
Game 1 was with a guy who asked for a " no attack for 30 minutes". Hmm, one will reach the supply limit before 30 minutes but I still agreed. (Map was challenger). Of course he rushes and continues attacking all the time. After 28 minutes I tell him that I will attack in 2 minutes, hehehe. Of course he left (didn't disc though).
Game 2 was against a Toss, me Terran (as most times). He built offensive cannons and had me pretty squeezed in when my first siege tank was ready. I told him that he will lose now... Know what he said? "haha, how do you want to win that?". He was so bad, he didn't even have a single unit!
He went down horribly. I checked his record and he had well more than 50 wins, not many losses!
Some guys are just strange... |
